In all the events that go on throughout the normal cycle of a business or home office day reflecting on whether or not a business has enough toner for their printing device is probably the last thing they would think about.

It is becoming more common these days to hear people reacting to the abrupt finding of their printing devises out of toner. Some people use conventional methods to keep a small supply of extra printing cartridges around their office or work station, but when it is time to change their printing cartridges they suddenly forget how to do it. In a fast pace environment or even in day to day life it could be simply that individuals consider this practice as being so minor. Individuals can in fact consciously reject having to learn how to productively use the information they are supposed to be learning concerning the product’s operation and maintenance.

Replacing Oki Data toner is pretty simple compared to replacing other types of printing device print cartridges. If a user doesn’t know how to operate and execute a quick printing change they can always call their vendor directly, but this would be unnecessary if they just do a little online searching to find the answer. There are plenty of resources that any inquisitive individual can use to figure out this quick fix problem.

Without getting to technical one may also find out the benefits of purchasing toner cartridges that have gone through the recycling process. In any circumstance the answer in an interesting format and understandable to the information seeker is available for viewing. Quality content and presentation is critical, a viewer must be interested in what they are seeing in order to retain the information that should be attained. Online demonstrations consist of old fashion power point presentations, videos, and old fashion style articles.

A resource for getting information on how to change toner from an Oki model printer would be to search the popular video creative display online channel YouTube. This platform allows users to find information about a broad range of subjects, and the presentations are in the form of videos.

Rachael WilliamsPlus Model/Actress/Writer

By L. Simone Hart

Phenomenal to say the least this very gifted courageous young beauty is continually and passionately making a name for herself in an industry which thrives on glamour, poise and competitiveness, she does it all with grace and the fierceness of a natural born star. At first glance it’s very much evident that the sparks behind those hazel eyes hold power and strength of an icon in the making. Plus Model Ms. Rachael Williams also known to her fans and colleagues as “Rae” or “Juicy Rae” she admittedly chose this title with inspiration from her favorite designer Juicy Couture, Rachael tells me she fancy’s the designers handbags most of all.

At only nineteen Ms Rae a Washington D.C. native is already a triple threat she has and still practices the arts of modeling, acting and writing, crediting the beginning of her modeling career to being sought after at the age of fifteen by a local D.C. K-Mart talent scout, from that point on Rachael fell in love with modeling and would pursue her dreams head on guarded by faith, family and an unwavering determination to see her visions come to life. She started acting while enrolled in middle school and as a student at La Plaza High School and has since gone on to do a political commercial in New York City and has notably been an extra in the popular 2010 teen movie Stomp the Yard 2 in the cookout scene and another film still in the editing process titled Across Four Springs. Rachael is also an avid poetry writer with a love for animals and jokingly states; she would probably be a veterinarian if not for her “squeamish” nature she exclaims.

Page 21: The Digital Conglomerate Magazine Inc. - December 2011 Issue

Finding balance between her modeling/acting career, education, family and friends can often times become a juggling act, especially for a young woman in the modeling industry, but Ms Williams doesn’t let that get in her way, powering forward with a force of confidence and persistence that is key to making it in any anything you want to be successful at. She merits a huge part of her support system to her mother and sister who often times transported Rachael from state to state and all over the world inspiring and believing in her and her dreams every step of the way. Ms Williams was recently chosen as a “REAL” model for Theary Sim in Atlanta, Georgia, which she feels will open doors to even more opportunities to work and earn in her career. When asked who inspires her in the modeling industry? Rachael answered, “My biggest inspirations are Toccarra of course, Queen LaTifah (probably my favorite) and Denise Bidot and Tara Lynn who are modeling for Torrid are inspirational to me.” I also asked Ms Williams what her most memorable moment of her career? “My most memorable moment keeps changing to

something better, but right now it is a tie between hearing I got my first paid photo shoot with a new plus size boutique in NY called Eddy&Bri, and getting accepted as one of the “REAL” models for Youtheary Khemer's company!” She also gave some insight on successful people she would like to work or collaborate with again and even for the first time on creative projects “A photographer I want to work with again is Inez Lewis, because she is amazing and gives really great advice as well. It's hard to find genuine people in the industry in my opinion. I also really want to work with Tyler Perry on one of his films.”

Rachael always seeks out great new platforms and avenues to launch her sights and career over and beyond her greatest expectations; she also states “I'm hoping to get back to doing some extra modeling/acting work in GA.” She also had some great news to share with her many fans and minions alike, “Soon I will be writing with Plus Talk Media, so that will be exciting!” “I'm also dying to work with Plus Model Magazine!”

Page 22: The Digital Conglomerate Magazine Inc. - December 2011 Issue

Do you have a message for plus models who want to be successful in the modeling world? “YES! Embrace yourself, believe in yourself always and thrive for what you want! Modeling is hard and competitive in general, but as a Plus Model it's a lot harder in my opinion, but people notice when you're working hard for what you want and really going after what you desire. Keep a positive, humble attitude and always network and make connections with people. And no matter what happens, keep God first.” ~Rachael Williams

I cry among her Ivory plainsuncertain of how I feel, upon our hands our brothers remainslost in thought of how surreal...

Each second passed like hourswithin each, proceed in gamesmany stones born from our towerscarved upon them many names...

So clinched, be the fists of distanceby the passing of the hours glassstill await that nearest instancewhen all may come to pass...

Ladies and GentlemenOne of the strongest poets I have had the pleasure meetinghe is on a roll . You wont just read his words you will feel them. From his creative mindDrawing a BlankFirst strokeMost important strokeStretching across the center pageThat isUntil the pencil brokeI tried to stencil originally in fear I would chokeNever was an avid follower thoughSo it was eventual for me to throw that style awayWith a new pen I evolved into freehand designsThe untamedThe unbridledThe unyielding strokes across the canvas

It was so liberatingExhilarating sensations overshadowed the mind

Insinuating these relations where my DNA’s kind

Pain could rage across the pageSorrow could cry upon its cornersDepression could find solitude in its emptiness

Happiness could cheer on each sideExcitement could dance where ever it chose

Until I arose to a blockadeObstructing my thoughts of oldI once believed those emotions would not fade

But those ideas and feelings that would scream

They have now dwindled to a mutterFaint and indistinctness dull each new stroke

Until I pauseLook downAnd realizeAfter all the recent markingsI have just drawn a blank

Vacation Home Financing With Bob Waun

By Garland L. McLaughlin

Mr. Bob Waun is the man to get in contact with if you qualify and are looking to purchase a second or vacation home. His experience has made him an industry leader that is dedicated to helping his clients reach their goals. Touching base with Mr. Waun gave me the warm feeling inside that let me know I was finally in contact with a legendary figure among the elite of mortgage originators. Spending a little time in the mortgage industry myself has made me realize that this profession certainly is not a walk in the park. A mortgage broker needs to have a tough mental attitude and for Mr. Waun to personally originate over $1 billion in residential mortgages during his 20+ year career speaks volumes.

Page 29: The Digital Conglomerate Magazine Inc. - December 2011 Issue

Bob Waun of Vacation Finance is working with Silver and Associates to source acquisitions. Silver and Associates is actively seeking new partnerships in the hospitality sector, and invites you to contact us for more information.

A joint venture comprised of Waramaug Hospitality LLC, led by industry veteran Paul Nussbaum, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Inc., and a US-based investment management company closed on the purchase of the Tampa East Crowne Plaza Hotel. The purchase is the second that has been funded through a more than $200 million joint venture that was raised by Greenwich, CT-based Silver and Associates for the purpose of acquiring distressed hospitality assets.

Mr. Waun speaks in the resort industry often, he is a founding board member of NACHO (National Association of Condo Hotel Owners), and a Chairman's club member of ARDA (The American Resort Developer's Association). Mr. Waun presently sits on the Boards of Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel Real Estate, Condo Coalition, Ligon/Krsge Eye Research Institute, Volvo Ocean Sailboat Race, and the Birmingham City (MI) Principal Shopping District Board. He knows how to stay busy using his talents to direct others within the industry, he is the go to man for a taste of “Exquisite Grunge Luxury” within the vacation housing and relaxation sector.

Mr. Waun and I share similar interests within the financial realm of economics education and publication authorship. His education consists of a Bachelor's and Master's degree in finance/economics. Mr. Waun has also authored numerous articles and white papers on finance and real estate, as well as the book "Besting: Better Nesting" (2006).

One may come across many interesting advertisements when they are online or just reading the daily newspaper. Savings on one item or another often gives the consumer reading the publication a notion to go out and purchase various items that are listed. Inside the circular or publication plenty of advertisers promise savings on brand name items, household goods, and personal products. Lately savings and cutting costs have been on the mind of most consumers as they go about their day to day life.

The demand for people to look, smell, and feel their best is definitely in the air. After taking a shower or even just preparing to give off a fresh vibe and aroma one may look to an old brand every male can trust. Only the civilized choice to splash on the familiar scent that most ladies recognize right away will receive an attractive response. It seems that most guys aren’t just paying attention to the sports section of their local periodical.

Stay Fresh & Save Money With

Old Spice

By Garland L. McLaughlin

Page 33: The Digital Conglomerate Magazine Inc. - December 2011 Issue

Most readers recognize the logo and catchy advertisements that have given the brand a celebrity status among fragrances. There are multiple advertisements about alternative brands and men’s personal hygiene, but cutting out Old Spice coupons is the assurance one will need to do on their journey to selecting a classic brand. Finding retail locations that sell grooming items with a familiar aroma can be found online or through a publication. Tell tale signs of the sail boat are key indicators that a store or online location supports and carries the brand.

Personal service store locations or pharmacy stores often run special discount sales right inside the store. Often times consumers do not know about these specials that may be running daily, weekly, or monthly if they do not come inside the store. From time to time consumers may dash into the store to pick up an item that they may have a coupon for and they realize that they also have their old spice coupons handy as well. Retail locations like using a method called double coupon discounting. If the customer that goes inside of the store sees that the personal hygiene items that they want to purchase are already on sale and they have coupons, they will receive a doubled discount toward their purchase.

Coupons aren’t the only things that attract consumers to this classic brand, of course. It seems quite possible that trendy commercials featuring famous athletes aren’t the key reason that most males and females alike are attracted to the brand. Sure guys appreciate when a female provides a gift of personal toiletry items to an everyday working man, she probably use some old spice coupons to purchase them. The Old Spice brand is also known for creating and setting a romantic tone for an evening or occasion. Men alike can feel confident and secure in knowing that the woman they are with is comfortable with their lifestyle. This classic fragrance represents more than an pleasant manly aroma, the brand provides evidence that a certain and distinguished image is usually associated with the brand.

Actress / Film Director Karita Fleming

By Garland L. McLaughlin

I had the opportunity of connecting with Karita Fleming through social media not to long ago. Ms. Fleming is a creative actress that is in the process of changing the way Hollywood looks at black actors and actresses. Not only is Ms. Karita Fleming an actress she is an up and coming director looking to take the industry by storm with her first film “HollyHood”. Her creative style is mixed with an intellectual tone that will make anyone curious to find out what makes her tick. It seems as if she is always in character in one form or another, if you ever heard her voicemail greeting you would know what I mean.

Well what exactly is her style like as an actress? Is she more creative or does she look to be a part of traditional roles? “Any and all styles are part of my personality. Acting is like controlled schizophrenia, thanks to my exotic looks. I usually play women who just don't exist in the real world, which is amazingly fun. I'm usually an assassin, Vampire, the devil, spy, all the chicks that live in video games which means I love my job.” Feeling the urge to ask more questions to gain more insight on the Hollywood scene I asked… In what ways do you plan on revolutionizing the film industry as an actress and director? Ms. Fleming answered, “You can't plan to revolutionize anything or anyone. You can only try to spark a feeling, something that rings true in everyone, that intrinsic feeling that awakens the change it takes to start a chain reaction throughout not just the industry but the culture of our nation as a whole.”

Page 41: The Digital Conglomerate Magazine Inc. - December 2011 Issue
Page 42: The Digital Conglomerate Magazine Inc. - December 2011 Issue

Knowing that Ms. Fleming obviously has a passion for what she does I asked her . When did she first discover her passion for modeling, acting, and directing film? “Aside from being a born show hog at 3 years old I remember watching old movies on AMC which no one else in my family could figure out why I was so obsessed with old black and whites. Every time I saw these strong Hawksian women like Glen Close, Lauren Bacall, Betty Davis, Gene Harlow, and Pam Grier, Sigourney Weaver or even the delicate strength of Marilyn Monroe. I would become a steam engine on the inside, steam, heat, and energy all building to a feeling like I was going to fly right off the edge of that green shag carpeting and take to the sky. I never once asked myself how I was going to make it "I just couldn't wait for it to all to begin ". How often do you audition to be in new films or TV shows? “Everyday, every time I open my big mouth. You just never know who or what might land you that next spot or the big one.” Currently Ms. Fleming is the prize girl for the MTV 2 show Burnout.

As we got a little deeper into discussion I asked Ms. Fleming a pretty tough question based on her entertainment experience and education. With a degree in marketing what made you want to get into the entertainment and film industry? Its actually the opposite I was a born entertainer that got into marketing. Honestly, I had lost my scholarship to NYU and started listening to my elders who told me that there was no future in being an actress and girls who ran away to Hollywood became back door actresses on Sunset and Vine. So I clung to a marketing degree for dear life because I had bought into the hype from someone who was too afraid to live out there dreams. I had just finished college at 20 years old and realized I didn't want to go into marketing, so when I was walking down the street one day I said to myself " Someone, Jesus, Buddha, Ronald McDonald, anyone send me a sign! And as I turned the corner a talent agent stopped me on the street and said " Hey do you want to be an actor? ". I would have hated being a marketing person who wanted to be a actor but an actress that knows how to market well that is a pretty desirable position to be in.” Certainly Ms. Karita has guts and not afraid to pursue her dreams no matter what.

Page 43: The Digital Conglomerate Magazine Inc. - December 2011 Issue

Next I wanted to know who are some of the people that Ms. Fleming talks to for inspiration and encouragement? “Most of the time its my boyfriend of 3 years. I am firey to say the least and when I want to crack a few heads or two he's is the level headed one. It probably comes with the territory of being a mathematical physicist. He's always rooting for me even when I'm not rooting for myself. ”In a tough competitive industry of modeling, acting, and film directing how do you stay a step ahead of the rest? Or has it been a challenge of endurance? “What keeps me ahead? I call it my Lazarus gene meaning my uncanny ability to take a kick in the teeth to be right on the brink of uncertainty and keep getting right back up. Hard work, determination, the beautiful mind and the awesome genetics don't hurt either.” Which actors or actresses would you like to work with in the future? “Everyone, they're aren't any I would say no to. However I am in constant and eternal love with Naomi Harris, Cillian Murphy, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Will Smith, Ben Foster, Ashiraywai Rai, and Noomi Rapace.”

Getting back to changing the film industry I asked Ms. Fleming is she feels that there will be more African American film makers that produce and direct alternative style films in the near future? Ms. Karita Fleming answered, “That's a loaded question… in the early 90s they had Spike Lee and John Singleton that created whole genres of amazing films and unfortunately for my generation currently no one has stepped up to the plate. I can say I hope they're will be, but the state of things aren't looking to bright on that end. I feel that a new crop of young innovators are soon to emerge on the scene. Hell if I exist there has to be more out there like myself. I can only bring myself, a intelligent, sharp, attractive, witty woman of color, a woman of many colors with a strong will and even stronger back and present that to the industry.” In your own words why do you feel that African American settle to play stereotypical roles when they know their image will be hurt? “Why? The answer is simple the bottom line is money, those evil stereotypes make money. First of all most of the industry is white or of Jewish descent, so their interaction with people of color are usually limited and people only write about what they experience in their daily lives. Second; the black audiences buy into that garbage all day, these films perpetuate what should be a myth, but currently acts as a mirror, a reflection of our lost or forgotten culture. There was once a time being a black actor was in and of itself a form of rebellion. However its so hard to make it as a actor not just an actor of color that once your in no one wants to be the wave maker. No one wants to be seen as the militant. Now those who have gotten a spot do not want to try and break boundaries for fear of losing their audiences and their paychecks. It’s the realization that we have to come to is that poor blacks and poor whites have more in common than a rich black man and a poor black man ever will.”
