CLASSROOM HAPPENINGS

Second Grade Happy New Year!!! Our Super Second Graders are excited to start 2019! We are continually working on reading comprehension and writing. We are thrilled to start our new Science unit on the life cycle of plants and animals. In math, we are working on addition and subtraction with regrouping. Please continue to encourage your child to read nightly and utilize i - Ready. We are looking forward to a successful 2019!

Third Grade Third Grade has been busy reading many

literary and informational genres. Our

reading activities engage students through

hands-on centers, digital lessons and

collaborative discussions. Parents can

assist their child by encouraging them to

participate daily in our Accelerated Reading program, online

i - Ready eading and math activities, and to complete their

weekly Think Central lessons. We are looking forward to

mastering our third grade standards through an exciting and fun-

filled integrated curriculum.
