yAccording to Longman Dictionary : known

as Legal Alien, he or she comes to live in

another country without official permission

yAccording to New Oxford Dictionary : a

person who has come into the foreign

country to live there permanently but not

allowed by law

y People who arrive legally but the overstay

their visas may also have illegal status.

The total numbers of illegal immigrant in

our country is approximately 800 000.

Indonesia is at first rank, which states

300, 000 and at second place is

Bangladesh with 250, 000 followed by

Philippines, Myanmar and others.

The term illegal immigrants is highly

contested because some consider it is a

pejorative term, since some consider violating the law, a moral as well as legal

issue.
