The second area we have to consider in order to express (?) priorities concern the types of information systems. Here we hinerit and adapt a classification proviede by Valduriez for data base management systems, based on the degree of distrubution, heterogeneity and autonomy. Among all possible combinations of levels, apart from CISs, we are interested to some extent in traditional Monolitic systems, considered in several methodologies. While only in open problems we will discuss DQ in Peer to Peer systems, whose importance in research is growing.
