From Fabric A, fussy cut:one 23” x 41-1/2” center panel
From Fabric B, cut:four 2” x WOF strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then cut: two 2” x 23” top/bottom Border 1 pieces two 2” x 44-1/2” side Border 1 piecesthree 8-7/8” x WOF of fabric strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then cut: two 8-7/8” x 60-1/2” side Border 4 piecestwo 4” x WOF of fabric strips. Trim to make: two 4” x 35” top/bottom Border 4 piecesthree 2-1/2” x WOF of fabric strips. From Fabric E, cut:five 1-3/4” x WOF strips. Subcut: twenty-eight 1-3/4” x 4-1/2” rectangles
From the Binding Fabric, cut:seven 2-1/2” x WOF strips
Cutting Instructions
Step 1: Gather:thirteen Fabric D rectanglesfourteen Fabric C rectanglesfourteen Fabric B rectangles
Arrange in the order shown, then sew together along the 4-1/2” edges. Press the seams open or to one side. Repeat to make a second pieced border in the same fabric order.

Step 2: Sew the top and bottom Border 1 pieces to the quilt center. Press toward the borders. Sew the side Border 1 pieces to the sides of the quilt center. Press toward the borders.
Step 3: Sew the top and bottom Border 2 pieces to the quilt center. Press toward the borders. Sew the side Border 2 pieces to the sides of the quilt center. Press toward the borders.
Step 4: Sew the top and bottom Border 3 pieces to the quilt center. Press toward the borders. Sew the side Border 3 pieces to the sides of the quilt center. Press toward the borders.
Step 5: Sew the top and bottom Border 4 pieces to the quilt center. Press toward the borders. Sew the side Border 4 pieces to the sides of the quilt center. Press toward the borders.
Step 6: Sew the pieced border from Step 1 to the top of the quilt center, noting the orientation in the Quilt Assembly Diagram. Press toward the quilt center. Repeat with the bottom pieced border.
Assemble the Quilt
Step 7: Sew the top and bottom Border 5 pieces to the quilt center. Press toward the borders.
Your quilt top is complete. Baste, quilt, bind and enjoy!
