Already since the early years of this millenium, photographer and book author René van Bakel has put himself on the trail of the history of La Dolce Vita and traced it back, all the way to the Etruscans. Moreover, van Bakel compares how much of their ancient culture, in other words the Etruscan spirit, has survived, and still shapes everyday life now in central Italy and elsewhere.

Già dai primi anni di questo millennio, il fotografo e autore René van Bakel si e’dedicato alla riscoperta dell storia de la dolce vita facendo così un

viaggio nel tempo fino ad arrivare agli etruschi. Questo percorso ha portato inoltre Van Bakel a confrontare quanto della loro antichissima cultura, in altre parole il spirito etrusco, sia sopravvissuta e influenzi ancora oggi la vita di tutti i giorni dell Italia centrale e delle altre regioni.
