• no risk stratification, no outcome

• cost

• no or low number of perfusion parameters in cardiac surgery databases

Why not adhere? – Several issues


Setting up a Registry

• people, that need coming together, money

• dataset and medium for collection

• motivation and trust to submit data

• quality control and error reporting

Long and labor-intensive work which requires:

Safety of data and priv

acy issues

• statistical processing

• publication of results (public/benchmarking)
