Entrance to Barrio Grenada AnexoAs you enter the settlement of 214 familes, 800+ people, you notice the road change to dirt.

Page 4: The Everyone Water Project

Some days the dirt road is dry and dustyYou notice the manhole cover and ask if there is potable or waste water systems here? No, you are told, that’s for the rich neighbourhood up the hill.

Page 5: The Everyone Water Project

Some days it is wet and muddyAnd the bacteria and bugs thrive,… and the barefoot little girl does not.

Page 6: The Everyone Water Project

Eye openerYou see people continuously walking out of the barrio with plastic buckets, precious pails, and discarded Coke bottles.

Page 13: The Everyone Water Project

And day after dayWater goes back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, like a rocking chair going nowhere.

Page 14: The Everyone Water Project

It gets tiringYou wash your hands and dishes less. You bathe and cook less. You work less. It’s 40 C / 100 F.

Page 15: The Everyone Water Project

NightYou are less healthy and less happy and less productive.

Page 16: The Everyone Water Project
