Trip Criteria
• You will travel in the family car• You will have 7 days to complete
the trip• Your total budget is $2000• You must visit at least 2 tourist
attractions
Destination Please• Discuss with your
family where they would like to go on vacation and what 2 sights they would like to visit.
• All family members living with you are planned into the trip.
Transportation
• You will print a map at www.yahoo.com of your driving directions providing total driving miles and time.
• You will ask your parents how many miles per gallon your car gets and what type of gasoline it consumes.
Lodging
• You will research 3 hotels, motels, or campsites. You will take the average price of the 3 for your budget planning.
• You may do this at www.hotels.com or www.expedia.com
Food!!
• You will research breakfast, lunch, and dinner prices for you family with on-line menus.
• You’ll find the average price per person per day to plan your budget.
Attractions
• You will visit a minimum of 2 tourist attractions.
• Some may have a cost for admission or parking & some may be free! It all depends on your budget!
Final Display Presentation
• The display should be creative and clearly explain your trip.
• The display must include the circle graph of your budget, the map, graphics or pictures, and the parent involvement form.
