There has been a newsletter since the association was formed in 1977. It began as a monthly issue until it went sporadic, dormant and ultimately discontinued. The purpose of the newsletter is clear – a means by which the members can be kept informed of current events and items of interest. Modern technology have recently produced an on-line version, but it only reached those with home computers. The mail-out version was resuscitated at the suggestion of the Board of Directors to insure that all members are kept up to date. This issue of the Fil-Am Connection is hoped to accomplish that objective.. The newsletter can also be viewed on the association’s website at www:filamsandiegonorthcounty.com.
