Philippines Friendship Team Visits Franklin Rotary
By John Short
The Philippine Friendship Team provided todays program.
Stacy Guffey introduced Elenita "Ellen" Landicho, team
leader, who introduced the members of the group.
The team included: Alicia Panerio, President and General
manager of ALSID ENT, a military supplies marketing
firm.; Lolita Anahaw an enterpreneur business woman in-
volved in child care.; Marilou Salazar, Owner/President of a refrigeration and air
conditioning supply company; Violeta Violy and Team leader Ellen Landicho, Presi-
dent of Eland Trading Corp., an accredited supplier of government agencies. The
team had a great time while in Franklin exploring Highlands and viewing the area
waterfalls; enjoying an evening of fellowship at the Rathskeller and shopping at
the Gem Museum, which I under-
stand had to restock after their
visit.
It was great to have the team
with us in Franklin and hope they
enjoy the remainder of their stay
in Western North Carolina.

Festivities will begin with a reception at 6:00 p.m. followed with dinner at 6:45 p.m. Please join us for an enjoyable eve-ning of great Rotary fellowship, inspiring mes-sages about the work of the Foundation, and
recognition of the strong involvement of Rotarians and our Rotary clubs in that work. The featured speaker for the evening will be Past Rotary Inter-national Vice President,
