Christ the undersigned were constituted a committee to con ¬ vey the assemblys remonstrance and request to you as follows That whereas It is publicly re ¬ ported to this meeting that the Sunday closing law was this date recklessly violated by a saloonist on Broadway also that there are several unlicensed places in the Sundaybut which fact is easily ascertained by your police if they try for they can arrest them on the grounds that they have U S t government license which fact is evidence that they are selling in 4violation of the State county and city laws when they have no i licenses
