This should be considered a potential risk to the bathing public. Samples taken Monday were above threshold for enterococci bacteria. The beach will be re-sampled, Monday, December 5, 2016. When re-sampling indicates that the water is within the satisfactory range, the advisory will be lifted. Water quality categorizations are based on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) standard for enterococci is that beaches with a beach action value of 70.5 or higher are given an advisory. The Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County has been conducting coastal beach water quality monitoring at nine sites once every two weeks since August 2000, and weekly since August 5, 2002 through the Healthy Beaches Monitoring Program. The water samples are being analyzed for enteric bacteria (enterococci) that normally inhabit the intestinal tract of humans and animals, which may cause human disease, infections, or rashes. The presence of enteric bacteria is an indication of fecal pollution, which may come from storm water runoff, pets and wildlife, and human sewage. range, the advisory will be lifted. Water quality categorizations are based on the Environmental

Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) standard for enterococci is that beacheswith a beach action value of 70.5 or higher are given an advisory.

The Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County hasbeen conducting coastal beach water quality monitoring at nine sitesonce every two weeks since August 2000, and weekly since August5, 2002 through the Healthy Beaches Monitoring Program. The watersamples are being analyzed for enteric bacteria (enterococci) thatnormally inhabit the intestinal tract of humans and animals, whichmay cause human disease, infections, or rashes. The presence ofenteric bacteria is an indication of fecal pollution, which may comefrom storm water runoff, pets and wildlife, and human sewage. Thepurpose of the Healthy Beaches Monitoring Program is to determinewhether Florida has significant coastal beach water quality problems.

Tampa Theatre to Present Get The Led Out in March

Get The Led Out - dubbed by media as “The American LedZeppelin” - is returning to Tampa for another live performance on theTheatre’s historic stage at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2017presented by Soulshine Music.

Tickets are $48 / $43 / $38 (plus applicable service fees) at theTampa Theatre Box Office, located at 711 N. Franklin Street indowntown Tampa, and online at www.TampaTheatre.org.

From the bombastic and epic to the folky and mystical, Get The LedOut (GTLO) captures the essence of the recorded music of LedZeppelin and brings it to the concert stage. The Philadelphia-basedgroup consists of six veteran who are passionate about their love of themusic of Led Zeppelin. It’s been their mission to bring the studiorecordings of “the mighty Zep” to life on the big concert stage. This isnot an impersonator act but rather a group of musicians who were fansfirst, striving to do justice to one of the greatest bands in rock history.

The 2+ hour set spans the career of the legendary British super group, with a strong focus on the early years. They also touch on the deepercuts that were seldom, if ever, heard in concert and include a special“acoustic set” with Zep favorites such as “The Battle of Evermore”performed in their original instrumentation with guest singer DianaDeSantis. Their approach to performing this hallowed catalogue is notunlike a classical performance. “Led Zeppelin are sort of the classicalcomposers of the rock era,” says lead vocalist Paul Sinclair. “I believethat 100 years from now, they will be looked at as the Bach orBeethoven of our time. As cliché as it sounds, their music is timeless.”
