AR to get bags of Haribo HC to send out a note regarding the disco and requesting help for the junior disco - in particular clearing up. AR confirmed the disco would start at 3.45 - 4.45 for infants and the juniors 5-6.15. Infants - HC; PJ; JA; AR; MD to set-up; Sally on sweets; 2 people required for crisps and drink and tea and coffee for parents. Juniors - Awaiting response from note. Enterprise week 14th April Friends to sell tea towels; tea and coffee; welsh cakes; recipe books; books. HC; MD; JA; PJ; JC - set-up at 1:30, hot water urn from village hall. HC to borrow keys from Playgroup.

Colwinston Summer Fayre Float - 2nd July “my favourite movie” theme, put note out asking for volunteers - suggestions from kids etc

Summer BBQ and frog race - 18th of June?? HC to talk to booking the village hall on that date.

Sports day - May? Temp license? HC to ask KA for update.

Website - MD and HC to build and link to school website.

Future fundraisersCalender - Children whose birthdays are on those months will appear on the page. From 99p - AR to seek more info on prices and timeframe etc

AR - introduced the idea of the ‘Invitation Book’ - cost £22 and school get £4. School order books and send back unsold ones….beauty, restaurants, pubs, build a bear, sports, cinema. AR will order some and ascertain interest at the Enterprise Fair and look at contract to determine if there are any costs.

Recipe book - produce master, HC photocopy Tues PM. Costs per book = 60p. £2.99 per book or 2 for £5. Putting together next Thursday AM to bind. Sell at enterprise fair, Xantipe, Living Café.

EasyFundRaising.Com - link to St David’s website and new Friends website. Put ‘thermometer’ in school.

PTA workshop - St Illtyd’s PS, Llantwit Major 25/5/11 - HC to send AR reference number for NCPTA; attendees to be confirmed.

Future possible fundraiser for May - Well-Being afternoon. Hairdressers; beauty students; mel @ karma beauty; face painting; Avon rep; Jamie Oliver - Sylvie? Diane Bluck/Gareth Williams fitness/dance for adults and children. Fruit smoothies; fruit kebabs. Raffle, tea and coffee…..fruit punch; candles; Helen Payne honey? Yankee Candles from Ewenny Garden Centre. Emma Hall - jewellery. School or village hall? Village hall to be used as location as it potentially includes local community. To be scoped out on Thurday April 7th. Bags to School June 28th? Jenny to confirm.
