Ezio will also be armed with a new arsenal of

weapons and abilities, including the hookblade,which alows players to zipline across the city orgrab enemies to yank them in for a combo attack. He also comes with a heightened EagleSense, allowing players to kill with "death-dealing proficiency."

Back in the real world, players will find Desmondpreparing for his future as he explores themysterious innards of the Animus in a modern daysetting. Following on from the events of Assassin'sCreed: Brotherhood, he is trapped in the Animus incomatose state, but has found a safe mode knownas the 'Black Room'.

In this Black Room, Desmond is on a mission tofind a memory that links him with Altaïr and Ezioto allow him to regain consciousness.

Following on from the success of the multiplayer mode in last year's Assassin's Creed:Brotherhood, the multiplayer mode returns betterthan ever. Revelations comes complete with witheven more team modes, and more enthrallingmaps and new characters.

To add to the multiplayer experience, players will be able to customise various elements of their characters' appearance and weapons, as wellas form their own guild and create a unique coatof arms.

For the second time in one issue of The Future both Wii Fit

Plus and the brand new Balance Board in Black have been

bundled together in this great starter set for anyone who

already has a Wii console.

If you are ever looking for your very own personal trainer

with the convenience of them being in your own home

whenever needed and the added benefit of being able to

turn them off then this could well be the perfect purchase

As previously mentioned, Wii Fit Plus is the game that

started the widely successful interactive fitness craze so it

goals. In addition to these brilliant features the game itself

and 6 new strength training and yoga activities to help you

wind down after a more vigorous work out.

Although these bundled products may seem like more

of an adult’s accessory for the Wii console there is quite a

range of new mini games and activities that can provide fun

for the whole family. Up to eight players can compete

against one another over various multi-player games

including games as diverse as hitting targets with

snow balls.

So that is the game just about covered, but what about the

Balance Board that it comes with? Well, there are sensors

measuring weight and detecting shifts in balance in both

forward and sideward directions. The board will allow

players to follow along to the movements on screen and

control all the action between menus. The sensors built in

to the board can detect even minor motion; even shifting

the position of your hand can be detected. And with the

addition of activities like Skateboarding and Rhythm Kung

Fu, players can use the Wii Balance Board accessory in a

One of the most anticipated Nintendo blockbusters of the year is

here, and sees the 3DS debut of everyone's favourite

moustachioed plumber!

Developed by the talented team over at Nintendo EAD Tokyo, design

legend Shigeru Miyamoto has described the latest in the Mario series as a

cross between Wii classic Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario 64, and

promises that it will be "completely original".

Super Mario 3D Land promises to be another solid gold platforming

classic, and will be "a 3D Mario that plays as a 2D Mario game," according

to Miyamoto.

The game essentially combines the familiar gameplay elements of the

classic side-scrolling linear, level-based structure of Super Mario titles that

we know and love, with the movement and visual style of 3D Mario titles.

For the first time in the series' history, players will be able to see the depth

of the land, rather than a rendered 3D game where true depth perception

can be difficult.

Inspired by some of the Mario games of yesteryear, Super Mario 3D Land

features abilities that Mario fans have been asking for to make a return,

including the Tanooki tail, which last appeared way back in 1990's Super

Mario Bros 3 on the NES. The raccoon-like tail will give Mario the ability

to hover, glide and attack.

Mario will also gain some all-new moves in Super Mario 3D Land, such as

the Somersault attack and the ability to run faster with the dash move. A

number of Mario's other famous power-up suits will become available

later in the game, Nintendo has revealed.

Gamers can also expect fluid, responsive and accurate control, thanks to

the 3DS' Circle pad controls.

Elsewhere, all-new enemies will challenge Mario, including Goombas with

Tails and a new Piranha Plant that spits ink at the camera.

Indeed, a raft of stunning 3D effects will make Super Mario 3D Land one

of the most striking-looking games yet. During the game, some obstacles

or items will be more visible when the 3D slider is switched on.

It has also been confirmed that Super Mario 3D Land also utilises the 3DS

gyroscope, with special binoculars allowing players to view areas of the

level by controlling a first-person camera by physically moving their 3DS

console around.

Full of inventive gameplay and stunning visuals, Super Mario 3D Land will

be one of the biggest titles of the year. Make sure you don't miss out!

The fourth in the massively successful

handheld puzzle adventure series acts as a

revealing prequel to the Professor

Layton story.

the events of Professor Layton and the

Curious Village, the latest in the series follows

hand-drawn art and beautifully animated charm

As well as tons of brand new brain-teasers,

mini-games and all-new episodes that are

episodes will offer a further glimpse into the

lives of some of the game's cast as players meet

them in the game.

The mini-games, meanwhile, promise to be

both challenging fun. The first involves laying a

train track for a small model train to pass

through all the stations and reach the goal. The

second tasks players with juggling verbs to get

the right performance on stage, while the third

new minigame involves guiding a fish around

an obstacle course to collect golden coins.

Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call will

be perfect for newcomers as well as

seasoned veterans.
