In Um Copo de Cólera (A Cup of Rage), this aestheticization arguably manifests itself as a scopic drive. For more information, please contact Gláucia Silva, [email protected] Sérgio Paulo Guimarães de Sousa is a professor at the University of Minho (Portugal) specializing in Cinema and Portuguese Literature. He has published several scholarly volumes (such as Literatura & Cinema, 2003, and Quem Sou Eu? Ensaios sobre António Lobo Antunes, 2015), as well as creative works. He has also co-authored three volumes (on the works of Almeida Garrett, Tony Hillerman and Lobo Antunes) and co-edited several other books on literature, cinema and their intersections. Sérgio Sousa is the current Hélio and Amélia Pedroso Endowed Chair at UMass Dartmouth, where he has been teaching a graduate seminar on Lusophone literatures.
