Ambassador is a Breedplan Trait Leader for 400 and 600 day weight, is in the top 1% for the CAAB Market Index and IMF %, and the top 5% for Carcase Weight. The performance of his progeny in Cohort 3 of the Angus Australia Sire Bench-marking Progeny Test is very encouraging, and is already contributing to the accuracy of his EBV’s. We consider F857 to be one of the best bulls we have ever used. The most outstanding 12 to 15 bulls from Ambassador F857’s first calf drop will be a feature of the sale offering.

of bulls in this year’s sale.

D249 sired the most valuable carcases in Cohort 1 of the AA sire Benchmark-ing Progeny Test. Progeny of 35 Elite Angus sires were evaluated in Cohort 1. Steer carcases sired by Eclipse D249 had an average value of $2985.42. Three, of the other 34 bulls sired carcases with and average value in excess of $2800. Eclipse D249 is now a trait leader for 200, 400 & 600 day weight, Carcase Weight and Scrotal Size. He is also positive for EMA, Fat, Retail Beef Yield and IMF%.The Glen has included a total of 8 sires being analysed in the first 4 Cohorts of the Progeny Test in the breeding program during the past 3 years. Five natural service sires and three AI Sires.
