About Bob Burg and John David MannBob Burg is a staunch advocate, supporter and defender of the free enterprise system and believes his purpose is to help people and organizations thrive in a capitalist system. Bob has spoken for Fortune 500 companies and numerous direct selling organizations. And he has shared the platform with many of the world's most noted speakers such as Denis Waitley, Zig Ziglar, Larry King, Brian Tracy and former U.S. President Gerald Ford. His first book, Endless Referrals: Network Your Everyday Contacts Into Sales has sold over 200,000 copies and continues to be used as a training manual for top sales organizations.

John David Mann is a musician, educator, entrepreneur and writer. At 17, he started his own high school . As a teenager, his compositions were performed throughout the U.S. and his musical score for Aeschylus’ Prometheus Bound (written at age thirteen) was performed at the play’s original amphitheater in Delphi, Greece. In 1986 John founded and wrote for Solstice, a journal on health, nutrition and environmental issues. During the 1990s, John built a multimillion-dollar direct sales organization. And for the last 20 years he has been writing about business, leadership and the laws of success while he served as senior editor of the Upline journal and editor in chief of Network Marketing Lifestyles and Networking Times.

According to the authors “It's great to be a go-getter.” Go-getters take action. Go-getters make things happen. But as great as it is to be a go-getter, Burg and Mann believe that being a go-giver is even better. “Being a go-giver means you add value to others in a way that helps them significantly while at the same time increasing your own sense of joy and improving your bottom line, both in your business and your personal life.”

“There are three universal reasons for working.

Survive -- to meet your basic living needs.
