The goal of Trinity Broadcasting Asia is to spread its wings and extend its reach into all of the parts of Asia so that the gospel may be preached even into the remote areas of each country. In order to do that we must partner with local churches and cable operators so that they would broadcast the different channels that TBN has to offer.

That is the same case in the Philippines, a country made up of more than 7000 islands and where TBN Asia’s Satellite Facility is based.

Last April 4-7, 2017 TBN Asia participated in the 25th Convention of PCTA (Philippine Cable Television Association) which was held at the Iloilo Convention Center in Mandurrio, Iloilo City.

Dubbed as its Silver Convention, the gathering called “Accelerate” hosted over 250 local cable operators that operate in the Philippines. We met with numerous cable operators who were eager not only to start airing TBN channels in their areas but also to sign up for the upcoming local channel called TBN Philippines, which would be airing local Christian materials as well as well-loved materials from the TBN roster of movies and programs.

Alongside these new contacts, we also met with other cable operators who have been loyally airing TBN Channels. They pledged to continue broadcasting TBN channels as well as the upcoming TBN Philippines channel. Currently TBN is airing all over the Philippines even in remote areas that can only be reached through these cable systems.

The gathering yielded fresh opportunities, with 17 new cable operators airing the TBN Channel and 32 new operators airing the Hillsong Channel. Over 40 others pledged to air TBN Philippines once the channel is operational.We are excited with what the rest of 2017 promises to bring TBN Asia in terms of ministerial opportunities.
