Dear Godly Woman,
God has made exceedingly great andprecious promises to us. It is vital
to ourlives as godlywomen that weknow them andare reminded ofthem often. Therefore, inthis edition Ishare with youa few of thosepromises I havegleaned fromGod’s Word. Ihave themposted on mywall in my home

As a Christian, it is important that wecarry out our God-given duties. One of themaccording to James 1:27 is to take care ofthe orphans, widows, and the poor in theirdistress. Therefore, I have added anothermission to this ministry entitled Jesus Feet.In that mission I will be helping the poor, mainly women and their children, in Kenya,Africa, to be able to support themselvesso that they can feed and clothe their chil-dren. Of course being a Christian, my maingoal is to be able to share the gospel ofChrist with them. Before I go any further Iwould like to ask you to please make adonation to this ministry to help me helpthem. We’ve all heard of the Proverbs 31Woman but not too many of us are familiarwith the Titus 2:3-5 Woman. I did a showabout her a few weeks ago so I decided towrite an article about her. I hope you en-joy it and see that her example is God’s willfor us Christian women today.
All of us desire to be naturally beau-tiful. So in “Radiant Vessel” I share withyou tips, I learned in beauty school, theessentials to looking your best naturally.
To encourage and uplift your spirit,I write in “Moment of Faith” how our hor-mones can have a negative effect over uswithout us realizing it. The lesson from thearticle was a huge eye-opener to me andhopefully it will be of benefit for you aswell.
I hope you glean something valu-able from this edition and I want to thankyou for your support of our nonprofit min-istry! May God continue to bless you sothat you will always be a blessing wher-ever you go! Remember, Father God lovesyou, seeks your best, and so do I!

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the [wo]man of God may becomplete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. ~2 Tim. 3:16-17 NKJV
INSPIRING PROVERBS AND QUOTES
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhorwhat is evil. Cling to what is good.Be kindly affectionate to one an-
other with brotherly love, in honor givingpreference to one another; not lagging indiligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, con-tinuing steadfastly in prayer; distributingto the needs of the saints, given to hospi-tality.
Bless those who persecute you;bless and do not curse. Rejoice with thosewho rejoice, and weep with those whoweep. Be of the same mind toward oneanother. Do not set your mind on highthings, but associate with the humble. Donot be wise in your own opinion.
Repay no one evil for evil. Have re-gard for good things in the sight of all men.If it is possible, as much as depends onyou, live peaceably with all men. Beloved,do not avenge yourselves, but rather giveplace to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeanceis Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. There-fore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; Ifhe is thirsty, give him a drink; For in sodoing you will heap coals of fire on hishead.” Do not be overcome by evil, butovercome evil with good.
~Romans 12:9-21 NKJV
May the Lord, the God of your ancestors, increase you a thousand times and blessyou as he has promised! ~Deut. 1:11 NIV
12
But today in
order to be virtu-
ous women, and to
please our holy
Father in heaven,
we do not have to
nor are called to
follow her lead.
Today, we Christian women are
called by Jesus and the apostle Paul to
imitate the woman in Titus 2:3-5 and also
in 1 Peter 3:3-4, 1 Timothy 2:9-10, and
James 1:27, along with other passages
found in the New Testament. Let’s look
deeper at the Titus 2:3-5 woman and what
these Bible verses tells us to imitate.
This passage calls Christian women to:
A LOVELY SPIRIT
THE TITUS 2:3-5 WOMAN
Today, many women are aiming to
imitate the Proverbs 31 woman
mentioned in Proverbs 31:10-31. If
you desire to be like her, there is nothing
wrong with that. However, the majority of
women will not be able to do all or much of
what she accomplished, but that is okay.
The Proverbs 31 woman was ex-
tremely wealthy. She had her own busi-
ness, owned land, made her own clothes,
and had maidservants. She was married
and her husband sat at the city gate or
held office. I admire and tried to imitate
the Proverbs 31 woman especially her qual-
ity in taking care of the poor and the needy.
Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be
slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge
the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure,
to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will
malign the word of God. ~Titus 2:3-5 NIV
13
• LOVE THEIR HUSBANDS AND CHIL-
DREN.
This simply means to take care of
ones family and to not overlook nor ne-
glect them. We do this by making sure they
are well fed (have healthy food prepared
to eat morning, noon, and evening times)
and clothed (covering and apparel to keep
them warm in the winter and at night) so
they will know they are loved or valued.
From the preceding Bible passage
we see what love is and what love is not.
According to Titus 2:4, as Chris-
tians and godly women, we are called to
love our families and 1 Corinthians 13 tells
us how to do this properly.
When I first got married I did not
attend church and I was not a Christian.
Therefore, I did not know how to love my
husband properly. Also, I was raised by a
single parent and my husbands parents
were divorced so we did not have a godly
example of marriage to imitate. Through
that experience I have learned that the
majority of people have to be taught many
things including how to love and that is
one reason God appoints and anoints Bible
teachers.
14
• BE SELF-CONTROLLED AND PURE.
This means to be disciplined, calm,
do all things in moderation and to be holy
or chaste. When we walk in the spirit as
opposed to the flesh we will be able to be
calm or gentle and to have control of our-
selves. (Gal. 5:23-24) And, when follow
Jesus’ example in the Bible and obey the
commands in Matthew 22:37-39 to love
God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and
strength, and to love our neighbors as our-
selves, we cannot help but to become and
stay pure and holy.
“In like manner also, that the women adorn
themselves in modest apparel, with pro-
priety and moderation, not with braided
hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but,
which is proper for women professing god-
liness, with good works. (1 Tim. 2:9-10
NIV) This passage gives us some clues on
how to manifest a pure life.
• BE BUSY AT HOME.
This means to be a homemaker and
active at ones own domicile. One can be
active in their home via cooking and clean-
ing and teaching or training their children.
Also, it means spending more time with fam-
ily than with friends or away from the home.
“Do not let your adornment be merely out-
ward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or
putting on fine apparel— rather let it be
the hidden person of the heart, with the
incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet
spirit, which is very precious in the sight
of God”. (1 Peter 3:3-4 NIV) From this pas-
sage we learn how to be discreet or chaste
and modest.
• BE KIND.
This is the same as being caring,
generous, giving, compassionate. Accord-
ing to Romans 12:21, we are to repay evil
with good. Nearly thirty years ago, when I
first got married, whenever my husband did
not respond to me in a loving way or the
way I thought he should, like a lot of wives,
I became spiteful and vindictive. But in
God’s Word, we Christians are called to al-
ways behave in a loving manner.
“Religion that God our Father accepts as
pure and faultless is this: to look after or-
phans and widows in their distress and to
keep oneself from being polluted by the
world”. (James 1:27 NIV) This Bible pas-
sage tells us how to be kind and how to
demonstrate love to our neighbors.
15
However, God is to always come first
and we are not called to submit to any one
thing if it goes against his Word. Discretion
has to be applied in all matters. This is
where Bible study and prayer is of great
benefit.
Why do we have to do all this as
Christians and godly women? According to
verse five, so that no one will malign (de-
fame, criticize, or badmouth) the Word of
God. In general, one of the reasons Chris-
tianity or the church has a bad name in
the world is because more than a few
church members fail to obey God’s Word,
which makes the church as a whole look
bad. (Matt. 22:14)
Therefore, that is one reason why
God’s Word tells us to be a godly example
and to obey it so we won’t be responsible
for bringing reproach upon the church.
Once we have been a faithful ex-
ample of the Titus 2:3-5 woman, being rev-
erent in our lifestyles, not slanderous or
addicted to alcohol, we are called to teach
and train the younger women. TGWG
• BE SUBJECT TO THEIR HUSBANDS.
Many women do not find it easy to
be obedient to their spouses and I am no
exception. But this is what the Bible calls
us to do.
However, when we marry a godly
man or one who respects us it is easier to
be submissive (cooperative, compliant, ac-
commodating) to our husbands and not to
try to control or boss them. That is one
reason why it is wise to marry a godly or a
Christian man. If one is married to some-
one who is not a Christian or a godly man
then they are still called to be submissive.
(1 Pet. 3:1)
“Love is patient, love is kind. It
does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud. It does not dis-
honor others, it is not self-seek-
ing, it is not easily angered, it
keeps no record of wrongs. Love
does not delight in evil but re-
joices with the truth. It always
protects, always trusts, always
hopes, always perseveres. Love
never fails”. (1 Cor. 13:4-8 NIV)

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. ~Prov.17:22
HOLY HUMOR
MISSING WIFE
A man approached a very beautifulwoman in a large supermarket and asked,“You know, I’ve lost my wife here in thesupermarket. Can you talk to me for acouple of minutes?”
”Why?” she replied.
”Because every time I talk to a beautifulwoman my wife appears out of nowhere.”
PROBLEMS DRIVING
Two elderly women were out driv-ing in a large car-both could barely seeover the dashboard. As they were cruisingalong they came to an intersection. Thestoplight was red but they just went onthrough. The woman in the passenger seatthought to herself “I must be losing it, Icould have sworn we just went through ared light.”
After a few more minutes they cameto another intersection and the light wasred but again and again they went rightthough. This time the woman in the pas-senger seat was almost sure that the lighthad been red but was really concerned thatshe was losing it. She was getting nervousand decided to pay very close attention tothe road and the next intersection to seewhat was going on.
At the next intersection, sureenough, the light was definitely red andthey went right through and she turned tothe other woman and said, “Mildred! Didyou know we just ran through three redlights in a row! You could have killed us!”
Mildred turned to her and said, “Oh,am I driving?”

A RADIANT VESSEL
Godly women are naturally beau-
tiful. A person who is physically
or effortlessly beautiful is one who
looks good without makeup or wearing any-
thing artificial.
HOW TO BE A NATURAL BEAUTY
As a Christian, I do not wear makeup
every day. I believe that people should be
able to see us in our natural state. It in-
creases their faith and trust in us and in
God. I normally wear makeup only on Sun-
days to worship service and for other for-
mal occasions. In the midweek and to Bible
class, I only wear lip-gloss and a little bit
of moisturizer. One reason I do this is be-
cause I want to be approachable and de-
sire others to know the real me and to
know that I am genuine. However, this is
my personal opinion. If you are afraid or
uncomfortable to leave the house without
makeup that is well. These tips when uti-
lized should make us more at ease to go
without makeup, as they will keep our
health and skin in good shape so we won’t
feel the need to always hide behind a veil.
By the way, the less often we wear makeup
the better we look without it.
Following are some tips to achieving a more
natural and beautiful appearance:
SKIN CARE
· Exfoliate your skin weekly with a
good apricot or similar scrub.
19
It leaves an unfinished look).
· Avoid lipstick. Peach or berry or
others neutral color lip-gloss only.
· Avoid false eyelashes.
HAIR
· Blow dry, flat-iron or shake and go.
Avoid heavy hairsprays and oils.
· If necessary, choose extensions or
hair pieces, instead of a full wig.
STYLE/DRESS· Sandals or pumps.
· One or two-toned dress, tunic withtights, or a two-piece suit.
· Minimal jewelry i.e. one earring perear, bracelet/watch, and one totwo rings only on each hand.
· Apply a mask weekly. It keeps skin
and pores tight.
· Use a fade cream daily or until com-
plexion is even toned, if needed. This
will usually make heavy makeup and
or concealer unnecessary.
· Apply moisturizer when going out
doors.
GROOMING
· Trim eyebrows then brush them up
and out. (I use a regular razor blade
to keep mines neat.)
· Shave or wax peach fuzz from face
if necessary. Especially around lips
and chin areas.
· Wear clear, natural, or neutral nail
colors. Or none at all.
MAKE UP
· No foundation, or plain or tinted
moisturizer only. Or you may apply
mineral powder foundation or liquid
foundation, sparingly to forehead,
cheeks, and chin. (Avoid applying
makeup especially blush or eye-
shadow to skin without foundation
or tinted moisturizer.

HEALTH· Eat healthy. Avoid fast-food. Eat
home-made food as much as pos-sible. If you’re prone to acne, thisis vital to maintaining a clear com-plexion.
· Maintain a healthy weight. Yo-yodieting is better than not dieting atall but it leads to sagging skin and adull complexion.

NATURAL/HERBAL GOD-GIVEN REMEDIES
Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will notwither, nor will their fruit fail. ...Their fruit will serve for food andtheir leaves for healing. ~Ezek.47:12
Mineral Salts
There are many products on
the market that do not live
up to their claims. But ABRA
Therapeutics is not one of them.
The world we live in is high strung and cha-
otic. Therefore, we need natural products
that will help us stay balanced not only
spritually but physically.
I prefer to go to the spa and get a salt
scrub and a massage but when I am un-
able to I use ABRA Therapeutics products
to help me detox and to relieve stress and
to stay balanced mentally and physically.
The two favorites I use is their Stress
Therapy Bath that is designed to relieve
stress and tension and is made with lavendar
and chamomile.
And their Cellular Detox Bath designed to
remove toxins from the body. It is made
with grapefruit and juniper.
When I first purchased these products I
had no idea they would be such a god-
send. A couple of nights a week I soak in
the tub filled with these bath salts. When I
am overly stressed, or headed in that di-
rection, I pour a capful of Stress Therapy
Bath in my bath along with a few drops of
Now’s lavender oil. I soak for the recom-
mended time on the label of thirty minutes.
Afterward I truly feel like a new person.
cont’d.
22
When my body feels bloated and my breast
feel tender especially during that time of
the month I grab their Cellular Detox Bath.
I have noticed that as I use it over time
say two to three weeks, my body is less
sensitive. By the way, for those who are
concerned with contracting a yeast or uri-
nary tract infection, bubble baths are not
necessarily the cause. As one who is prone
to suffer from both ailments, I was told by
a nurse to not take baths due to them
causing infections. However, I have noticed
that when I use non-organic and unnatural
bath products (even in the shower) that I
contract more infections. But since using
ABRA products and other organic ones, I
have been able to take baths and showers
without contracting any type of infections.
ABRA bath salts are
made with natural
ingredients includ-
ing minerals from
the Mojave desert,
organic herbals,
and pure essential
oils. You should be able to find them at
your local healthfood store or even online.
If you suffer from extreme stress and fa-
tigue I highly recommend these products.
They have helped change my health and
my life for the better.
PLEASE NOTE: Do your own research on
herbal medicines and check with your doctor
before ceasing or beginning any prescribed
or over-the-counter medications, especially
if you have any type of health ailment. I am
not a medical doctor but I prefer, and utilize
herbal medicines after taking care to research
them. Also, some herbal medicines may
cause the blood sugar level to drop so be
careful with them, especially if you have dia-
betes or low blood sugar. As for those herb-
als that do cause my blood sugar to drop, I
take them sparingly or with food.

WOMEN OF THE BIBLEWho can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Many daughtershave done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty isvain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. ~Prov. 31:10; 29-30
Many women can relate to Abigail’s position as a
wife: Her husband was mean and very unwise. He
also took her for granted and placed a low value on
her. But Abigail was the perfect match for her husband. Unlike
him though, she was gentle and humble and exactly what he
needed. Especially when she helped save his life when the
newly anointed king David was about to kill him for slighting
him.
However, Abigail remained Nabal’s wife despite his shortcomings. This took a lot of
strength no doubt. Though her husband was not ideal, she loved him and was faithful to
him. More importantly, she trusted in God for the outcome of their marriage.
STRENGTHS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND LESSONS FROM HER LIFE
• Gentle, humble, sensible, capable, peacemaker• Able to see the big picture• Loyal without being blind• A persuasive speaker, able to see beyond herself• Wife of a king• One does not need a prestigious title to play a significant role
Then David said to Abigail: “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, who sent you this day to
meet me! And blessed is your advice and blessed are you, because you have kept me
this day from coming to bloodshed and from avenging myself with my own hand. For
indeed, as the Lord God of Israel lives, who has kept me back from hurting you, unless
you had hurried and come to meet me, surely by morning light no males would have been
left to Nabal!” So David received from her hand what she had brought him, and said to
her, “Go up in peace to your house. See, I have heeded your voice and respected your
person.” ~1 Sam. 25:31-35

MOMENT OF FAITH
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are
contrary the one to the other: so that ye can-
not do the things that ye would. ~Gal. 5:17
KJV
Have you ever found yourself feel
ing grumpy or grouchy but you
didn’t know why? Before you criti-
cize or condemn yourself, you should real-
ize that those emotions could be related
to health issues or hormonal changes in
your body and are not necessarily a sign of
spiritual weakness or a lack of love for your
fellow man.
It’s hard to be godly toward others
and walk in the Spirit when we are sick and
don’t feel well. That’s one reason it is es-
sential to take care of ourselves or, as God’s
Word puts it, his temple.
“Do you not know that your bodies
are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in
you, whom you have received from God?
You are not your own; you were bought at
a price. Therefore honor God with your bod-
ies” (1 Cor. 6:19 NIV). We need to discern
what is going on within our bodies, not only
in the spiritual realm.
Being moody and depressed (espe-
cially over an extended period of time) is
not always a choice, as some would have
us believe. I remember many years ago
when mainstream medical professionals re-
ported that PMS was all in women’s heads.
But time and experience has proven them
wrong. If we don’t realize that being de-
pressed can be the result of medical prob-
lems or medications, we may get discour-
aged trying to figure out what in the world
is going on within us.
GODLY OR GRUMPY? SPIRIT OR FLESH?

to analyze my spiritual being and my walk
with God.
If you sometimes find it difficult to
be gentle, long-suffering, and self-con-
trolled, don’t immediately criticize yourself.
We do need to fix what we can, but we
also need to be patient with ourselves, just
as Father desires that we be toward oth-
ers. So along with a spiritual analysis, look
to the body to determine whether some-
thing physical may be affecting you. There
may be something out of order with your
flesh and not your spirit that is causing
you to be grumpy instead of godly. TGWG

This reminds me of one time many
years ago when I and my husband had just
moved into our new home and our marriage
was going along very well. However, after
a few months I noticed that I was extremely
irritated, so much to the point that I didn’t
even like myself! And I didn’t know why. It
was very unpleasant for me and I’m sure
for my husband as well. Nevertheless, all
praises to God, I finally made a doctor ap-
pointment. There I learned that I had de-
veloped hypoglycemia. One of its many
symptoms is depression and irritability. It is
good that I went to the doctor and had a
physical body checkup, evenas I started
