is the act of granting certain powers or the authority to carry out a particular task or duty. A group of people officially authorized to perform certain duties or functions.

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Page 5: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 6: THE GREAT COMMISSION

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Page 7: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 8: THE GREAT COMMISSION

18 And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Page 9: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 10: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 11: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 12: THE GREAT COMMISSION

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Page 19: THE GREAT COMMISSION

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

is an authorized messenger or representative of their government or some other sovereign authority. They do business on the behalf of another. When they deliver the message they have been

given; they have the support and backing of the government they represent.

1. As Christ’s personal representatives we are to beg men to accept Christ for his sake.

Page 26: THE GREAT COMMISSION

23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel [them] to come in, that my house may be filled.

24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Page 38: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 39: THE GREAT COMMISSION

18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

Page 40: THE GREAT COMMISSION

19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Page 41: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 42: THE GREAT COMMISSION

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Page 43: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 44: THE GREAT COMMISSION

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Page 45: THE GREAT COMMISSION

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Page 46: THE GREAT COMMISSION

8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Page 47: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 48: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 49: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 50: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 51: THE GREAT COMMISSION

10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Page 52: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 53: THE GREAT COMMISSION

1 Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.

Page 54: THE GREAT COMMISSION

2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

Page 55: THE GREAT COMMISSION

3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,

Page 56: THE GREAT COMMISSION

4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

Page 57: THE GREAT COMMISSION

5 And when he hath found [it], he layeth [it] on his shoulders, rejoicing.

Page 58: THE GREAT COMMISSION

6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together [his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

Page 59: THE GREAT COMMISSION

7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Page 60: THE GREAT COMMISSION

8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find [it]?

Page 61: THE GREAT COMMISSION

9 And when she hath found [it], she calleth [her] friends and [her] neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

Page 62: THE GREAT COMMISSION

10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Page 63: THE GREAT COMMISSION
Page 64: THE GREAT COMMISSION

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men;

Page 65: THE GREAT COMMISSION

2 For kings, and [for] all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Page 66: THE GREAT COMMISSION

3 For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

Page 67: THE GREAT COMMISSION

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Page 68: THE GREAT COMMISSION

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

30 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.

Page 74: THE GREAT COMMISSION

31 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.

Page 75: THE GREAT COMMISSION

32 Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

Page 76: THE GREAT COMMISSION

33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

Page 77: THE GREAT COMMISSION

1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,

Page 78: THE GREAT COMMISSION

2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.

Page 79: THE GREAT COMMISSION

3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh

Page 80: THE GREAT COMMISSION

1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

Page 81: THE GREAT COMMISSION

I Corinthians 9:22 22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all [men], that I might by all means save some.

6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [with him].

Someone penned a chorus to a hymn, which says:

Page 87: THE GREAT COMMISSION

Let me look on the crowd as my savior did,Till’ my eyes with tears grow dim,Let me look till I pity the wandering sheepAnd love them for love of Him’.
