Zeus: king of gods and his weapon of choice was the lighting bolt.

Pluto: the god of the underworld. Hera: the wife of Zeus and the queen of the

gods Mount Olympus: it is the land mark where

there are statues of all the gods and titans.

The titans: The 12 gods, also know as the

Elder gods ,who ruled the earth before the Olympians overthrew them. The ruler of the titans was coronus who was dethroned by his son Zeus. Most of the titans fought with coronus against Zeus and were punished by being banished to Tartarus.

Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty and sexuality. According to Greek poet Hesiod, and she was born when Cronus cut off Uranus’ genitals and threw them into the sea , and from the Aphros (sea foam).

ARES was the great Olympian god of war battle lust , civil order and manly courage .In Greek art he was depicted as either a mature ,bearded warrior dressed in battle arms ,or a nude bearded less youth with helm and spear. Because of his lack of distinction attributes heisopen difficult to identify in classical art..

Persephone the underworld, the kore[or young maiden],and a daughter of DEMETERAND ZEUS.In the olympian version, she also becomes the consort of Hades when he becomes the deity that governs the underworld.

Apollo personified the perfect man according to ancient Greek standards . He would entertain the other gods by playing the lyre ,and he was also a brilliant archer and

runner considered to be the first winner at the Olympics games . He protected young men was a god of

agriculture and also was a healer. He was also thought to be the most beautiful of gods.

Hermes is the messenger of Zues and the herald of the gods. To him is ascribed the introduction of the sending of embassies to sue for peace. Hermes, the robber and cattle driver, the prince of tricksters, the patron of travellers, is also the governor of thetongue, and the guide of intelligent speech.Hermes is called Argiphontes, for having killed the All-seeing Argus who guarded, and Pschopompus for being the guide of souls to the underworld.

Silenus and the satyrs was a companion and tutor to the wine god Dionysus and usually refer to drunken followers of Dionysus

Athena is the goddess of civilation wisdom ,strength, strategies, craft and skill in Greek mythology. Mineral Roman in incarnation, embodies similar.

Pandora: As Hesiod related it ,each god help create her by giving her unique gifts. Zeus ordered Hephaestus to mould her out of earth as part of punishment of mankind for Prometheus theft of the secret of fire and of all the gods joined in offering her.

Icarus: He is the son of Daedalus and is commonly know for his attempt to escape by flight, which ended in a fall to his death.

Poseidon: He was god of the sea and a earth shaker of earthquakes in Greek mythology. The name of the sea-godnethuns in Etunscan was adopted in latine of Neptune in roman mythology, both were sea gods an logouse to Poseidom.

Who killed Medusa and how: Medusa was killed by Zeus son Perseus he used a sword and shield to kill Medusa.

How were seasons made according to the ancient Greek. Demeter was the goddess of the harvest , who preside over gains ,the fertility of earth season.
