The titans: The 12 gods, also know as the

Elder gods ,who ruled the earth before the Olympians overthrew them. The ruler of the titans was coronus who was dethroned by his son Zeus. Most of the titans fought with coronus against Zeus and were punished by being banished to Tartarus.

Apollo personified the perfect man according to ancient Greek standards . He would entertain the other gods by playing the lyre ,and he was also a brilliant archer and

runner considered to be the first winner at the Olympics games . He protected young men was a god of

agriculture and also was a healer. He was also thought to be the most beautiful of gods.

Hermes is the messenger of Zues and the herald of the gods. To him is ascribed the introduction of the sending of embassies to sue for peace. Hermes, the robber and cattle driver, the prince of tricksters, the patron of travellers, is also the governor of thetongue, and the guide of intelligent speech.Hermes is called Argiphontes, for having killed the All-seeing Argus who guarded, and Pschopompus for being the guide of souls to the underworld.

How were seasons made according to the ancient Greek. Demeter was the goddess of the harvest , who preside over gains ,the fertility of earth season.
