Configuring “Operators”

You can configure as manycompanies you need…

…as well as “ExternalCompanies” (contractors,

maintenance, cleaning, …)

XAtl@s allows the configuration and management of multi-companies plants.

You can also cofigure asmany “sites” you need.

Each site can have its own“Calendar” with different bank

holidays

And is also possible to manage multi-sites systems.

The system is managed by different operators withdifferent rights called “Profiles”

You may configure differentprofiles… …enabling operators to do

different things.

But the operators with the same Profile can beenabled to work on different “data”.

The “Visibility” property allows anoperator to manage only information

belonging to one or more company… …or one or more sites.

Once you have configured Profiles and Visibility youcan define “Operators”

You can have as many operatorsyou need with different UserID,

passwords, …

Based on “Event Types” you can send SMS to different persons …

You can also define different “Event Types” to beused to send alarms to different operators

You can also define different “Event Types” to beused to send alarms to different operators

…or live videos to different stations.

It is also possible to assign Profiles to stationsallowing some PC to do only limited jobs.

This is the MAC address of the PC …

…and this is the profile assigned to that MAC address.

Configuring the System

“Card Formats” allow to manage different card technologies.

For each Card Format it is possibledo define the fields of the cards that

readers must read and check.

“Reasons” are additional information that can beentered using keypads together with clock-in/out

The Reason Code is the value sentwith the transaction to the T&A

application.

The Reason Description is the stringshown on the reader LCD

The “Gate” configuration allows to choose from a library the type of gate (doors, boom gates, trapdoors,…) that has to be managed by a terminal.

This is the list of available gates typein the library.

I/Os that must be connected to locksor sensors or “streetlights”

Based on the type of gate selected the GUI providesthe list of I/O needed to manage it.

And here you have other propertiesto be set

All physical objects can generate “events”. It ispossible for each event to define the way it has to bemanaged.

These are the events of a gate.

You can decide to ignore or manageit with different priorities and local or

centralized reactions.

Configuring the

You can use the XPoint to enter reasons, to do enquiries, to lock/unlock doors, turn on/off lights, to show information, etc.

And here you can define the behaviour of the terminal when the

user selects that item

You can decide to enable a specific item

only for some daysand some hours.

It is also possible to enable Menù Items only to specific users crating “Field Profiles”

The Field Profiles defines which Itemis enabled in that profile. The theprofile will be assigned to users.

Configuring Authorizations

The configuration of Calendars is the first step to configure authorizations for users.

You can define the working days, bank holidays and “special days” for

the whole year.

It is possible to create a calendarvalid only for a specific year or

forever.

The system can automaticallycalculate the easter and consier it

(and the following day) as a holidayor working or special day.

Time Periods are simply interval of hours within a day

Just a starting and ending time of the Time Period.

Associating Time Periods to different week days or bank holidays or special days you can build “Time Models. A Time Model is “active” if the current day or day type and Time Period are matching itsconfiguration.

You select first the Time Period……then you enable it in different days.

The Authorization Level are used to create a linkbetween Time Models and Terminals.

You select first the Time Model……then you click on “Terminals

Selection”…

…now you can define whichterminals will be allowed in the

selected Time Model.

The Authorization Level is then assigned to users(or card ranges…).

In OrangeLink it’s possible to assign authorizationsto card ranges instead to any single card or user.

Configuring re-Actions to events

“Actions” are sequences of commands that are executed by Field Managers in peer-to-peer.

Each Action can be made by a maximum of 10 steps.

Each step can be a command to anobject or a test on its status or a “go-

to” another step.

You can define also a delay betweena step and the following one.

“Actions” can run based on: scheduling, events, manual commands or transactions.

Configuring Cards and Users

Cards are any “User Identification Media”. EachUser must have at least one card to be identified bythe system.

This is the “human readable”code written on the card.

This is the “electronic readable”code written in the card.

Each card can have up to three

differentelectronic codesthat can be read

disables the user.

A “User” is any subject (employees, externalcompanies employees, visitors, vehicles, …) that isidentified with a card.

Analysis and Reports

All analysis allow to print or export the result of the query in different file formats.

Reception Management

The Reception Management includes both the Visitors Check-in/out with optional “pass” printout…

… and the temporary card assignament to employee with automatic disabling of original card.

Alarm list and Dynamic Displays

The Alarms List allows to view real-time alarms and manage it with Intructions for the operator, ackowledge, jump to the relevant dynamic display,…

Dynamic Displays are maps of the plant that you can “navigate” to control the status of the system.
