1965- The company IBM used a hybrid circuits which was a solid state device. This change the way of the computers because this is what made computers so popular because of IBM!

1970- mini computer were invented (they weren't called laptops yet)

1971- there was a super computer invented and this computers as named lilac the forth. This computer was the fastest computer for several year. While this super computer was the fastest computer, the other computer inventers create computer with higher graphics and higherstorage

1971- Intel creates the worlds first commercial micro processer

1975- the company "MITS" showed off the Altair 8800 kit. This computer featured an 8080 processer, power supply (to plug USB devices in) ,lights in the front to make it look cool and 256 bytes. But this kit was about 395 dollars and you had to assemble it by your own. Although this

sounds hard to build but all you needed was a screw driver.

1976- Steve jobs and Steve Wozniak started making apple computers on April fools day

1977- the apple 2 was created and this computer was the first actually personal computer

1980- The mini computer got its name. They called it "laptop"

1981- they're was a computer called a radio shack and this computer cost 5 hundred dollar. The piece of device had a radio monitor and a normal processer. This device was brought to school. This impacted technogoly life to schools.

1983- The computer " Apple Lisa is the first personal computer with GUI

1985- Microsoft announces Windows. This computer featured everything the Apple Lisa had but it had more features than the Apple Lisa with advance audio and video capabilities. This started

they rivalry with each other

1986- Compaq brought the desktop 386 to the stores. This computer featured a 32 bitarchitecture which tells the speed of the computer.

1994:PCs become gaming machines as Command & Conquer, Alone in the Dark 2, Theme Park, Magic Carpet, Descent andLittle Big Adventureare among the games to hit

the market.

1999- the term Wifi was created it was a wireless internet that you could connect to your device2006: Apple introduces the MacBook Pro, its first Intel-based, dual-core mobile computer, as well as an Intel-based iMac..

2009- Windows 7.This offered the ability to pin applications to the taskbar and advances in touch and handwriting recognition, among other features.
