DF150TG/175TG debut. 1990 DT225 added to V6 series. DF40 and DF50 wins the "Innovation Award" from the International Marine Trades Exposition and Convention (IMTEC), and it makes Suzuki the first manufacturer to receive this award two years in a row. 1985 DT150 and DT200, the first Suzuki V6 engine outboards, marketed. 1987 DT200 Exante wins the first "Most Innovative Products" award from the show's sponsor, the National Marine Manufacture's association (NMMA). 1989 DT90 and DT100, the first Suzuki V4 engine outboards, marketed. 2000 DF90 and DF115 marketed. These models are the first to utilize an offset drive shaft, making them the most compact outboards in their class. 2003 DF200/225/250 (3614cm3), the first Suzuki 4-stroke V6 outboards revealed. DF250 wins the "IMTEC Innovation Award" at the 2003 International Miami Boat Show. The production of DF9.9/15 is transferred to Thai Suzuki (August 2003) 2006 DF300 is the industry's first 300HP V6 4-stroke outboard, and the first outboard to utilize an electronic remote control.
