Thank you to all of you for
making this so successful and
enjoyable. See you at the
Rally!!

Chair
With just six weeks to go till
show time, I could not have
more confidence in our group
of volunteers and our chances
of enjoying a successfully
run event! The review meet-
ings with the various CCA reps
and our directors in October
went very well and enabled
our directors to fine tune their
plans and gain confidence in
the direction they have been
heading. The logistical walk
through in November was evi-
dence too that each of you
have now taken charge of
your areas and have now be-
gun to engage the rest of our
volunteers. You are an awe-
some board and it was evi-
dent and not overlooked at
how much preparation and
planning has already taken
place.
I am very excited about the
rally on the 14th
and having
everyone out to Apex Casino
to be suited up in our volun-
teer apparel! This will also be
our last full get together be-
fore the event, and with
Christmas in the mix, the
event will be just around the
corner.
It seems that time is slipping
away. We are only a stones
throw away from the World
Financial Group Continental
Cup. The event is almost here
and I know we will be ready to
welcome the World’s best
curling teams and all the fans
that enjoy this great sport.
Thank you all for coming out
to have your uniforms sized
and I look forward to seeing
you again in December. Please
make sure to note that we will
be kicking off the entire World
Financial Group Continental
Cup with the Volunteer Ap-
preciation Party.
We appreciate you so much
that we want you to join us
on Wednesday January 12 @
5:30 pm, in the Patch for a
lovely dinner before the first
day of the event. Doors will
be open after dinner to your
friends and family for the
Opening Ceremony at 8:30
pm in the Performance Area;
then off to the Keith’s Patch
to dance the night away as we
get ready for another epic
event.
