After having been built houses that are improved gradually with basic infrastructure in order to make the house pleasant, today constructors speak about another way to build houses with electronic gadgets to make them smart.

Nowadays it is a trend to make buildings in futuristic style so needless to say it would be the main style in architecture. Futuristic houses are very unusual like seen in “Star Wars”.

The House of the Future would be built for convenience. Today our houses are “smarter” than ever and continue to get smarter every day. Nowadays we have a lot of high tech gadgets such as TVs, appliances and sound systems and we can manage them by our smartphones.

Our homes would be fully automated. The walls are all in sensors. Tiny sensors would be built into light switchers, doors, windows, etc. With these sensors it will be able to easily control temperature, doors, television, lighting, water. The whole bed would be heated up in winter. A great thing that a smart house can do is to help reducing the waste of energy. For example, if a room doesn’t have anyone inside, so it doesn’t need to be heated and lighted, the system can turn off the lights and turn down the heat. If a person watches the TV or listens to music and for some reasons he/she moves immediately, the house will turn off the TV or radio. It is the same thing for tap water and heating. This is a good thing because it helps to save money by conserving energy.

There is one place in each house, where people meet, communicate, see guests. Kitchen still remains this community centre. Maybe someone will create the kind of refrigerators, which would suggest food and control food quality.

A smart home controls not only the things that are inside, but also anyone who comes. The house memorizes the hours doors are open or closed and the face of everybody who goes through the door. This is why it can help parents to control the time when children leave home and return, what children do at home, and who comes home with them. A smart house also offers many opportunities for the elderly. One is to survive if a medical emergency happened. It can alert services immediately, open the door when police officers arrive and indicate in which room the person is located.
