HUMAN HEARTHUMAN HEART

THE HUMAN HEART IS MADE UP OF MUSCLES.

IT IS MADE OF 4 PARTS. THE FIRST 2 ARE:

RIGHT ATRIUM, RIGHT VENTRICLE.

THE OTHER 2 ARE:

LEFT ATRIUM,LEFT VENTRICLE.

HUMAN HEARTHUMAN HEART

The superior vena The superior vena cava brings the cava brings the blood from the upper blood from the upper part of the body like part of the body like the brain etc.the brain etc.

The inferior vena cava The inferior vena cava brings the impure-brings the impure-blood from the lower blood from the lower part of the body.part of the body.

HOW DOES THE BLOOD HOW DOES THE BLOOD TRAVEL?TRAVEL?

THE BLOOD TRAVELS FROM THE RIGHT ATRIUM TO THE RIGHT VENTRICLE WHICH PUMPS THE BLOOD AND SENDS IT TO THE PULMONARY ARTERY, WHICH SENDS IT TO THE LUNGS FOR PURIFICATION.

THEN THE BLOOD COMES TO THE LEFT ATRIUM THROUGH THE PULMONARY VEINS, THE LEFT ATRIUM SENDS THE BLOOD TO THE LEFT VENTRICLE THEN IT PUMPS THE BLOOD TO THE ENTIRE BODY

THROUGH THE AORTA.

The valves The valves

The valves are just doors which open and close due to the pressure of the blood.

There are 3 valves in the heart. To stop the blood from mixing into each other.

There are lots of valves in the veins also. To prevent the impure-blood from moving backwards.

The Electric Currents In The Heart.

There are nods in the heart which produce electric currents, which gives the energy to the ventricles to pump the blood to the body or to the lungs.

The circulatory of blood

After the blood was pumped from the left ventricle to the entire body through Arteries.

The Arteries then split up into small branches called Capillaries. Exchange of gases, digested foods, minerals and waste products take place between the cells and the blood through the thin walls of the Capillaries.

Then the Capillaries join up to make a vein which takes the de-oxygenated blood to the right side of the heart (right atrium)

AND IT BEGINS ALL OVER AGAIN.
