The Hunger Games Panem, probably the last place on earth for human live, is a land made of the remains of North America, splittet in 12 districts. The 13th has been destroyed by the government, called the capitol, in a rebellion of the districs.As penalty for this rebellion each district has to send one girl and one boy, in the age of 12 to 18, as tributes to an arena, which can be every territory, where they must fight each other until only one is alive. This person will be the winner. In the arena the tributes are at the mercy of the Play Makers, persons who are able to manipulate the environment in the arena.

Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), a girl who lives in district 12, has volunteered as a tribute to save her little sister, who was actually selected. Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) was selected too and in the arena the both play a love story to be liked by the sponsors who can send them some life saving presents. The Hunger Games is a film based on a book of Suzanne Collins, directed by Gary Ross and produced by Lionsgate.Jeniffer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson show the emotions of Katniss and Peeta very well, so that you can understand the situations in the arena better. The special effect in Hunger Games are brilliant, for example there is a forest fire which looks completely real. It´s a amazing cinema experience
