The idea is to get as many words as possible made form these letters. E.g. “count”, “down”,

“town” and so on.

The words must be 4 letters or longer to count.

At the end you will swap over to mark them. The number of points depends on the word

length.4 letter word = 4 points

5 letter word = 5 points

6 letter word = 6 points

7 letter word = 7 points

8 letter word = 8 points

9 letter word = 18 points

As you can see getting the nine letter word gives you double points. But still, getting four words of five letters would give you twenty points meaning that you’d beat someone who got just the nine letter word

Wikipedia BingoThe idea of this game is to find things using wikipedia.

You start by hitting the random article link (top left). You can then use any hyperlinks on the page.

You cannot use the keyboard or cut and paste to search.

You have to write down the ten things you’ve found and bring them to me to check.

If you are clever about it you will find that there are ways to take shortcuts without cheating.

While playing this game, you will learn an incredible amount about many different things and practise scanning and editing skills.
