of the winged horse and his adventures.
The story of Pegasus

byPerseus, the hero.
Pegasus was born.

s…
Pegasus proves to be of great service to his master, Bellerophon.
The Chimera is a fierce, fire-breathing creature that is part lion, part goat and part serpent.
Bellerophon and Pegasus encounter the Chimera.
Bellerophon and Pegasus defeat the evil Chimera and triumphantly fly away.
Bellerophon is
overcome by
his own pride.
He attempts to ride
Pegasus to the top of
Mount Olympus to join the
gods.
Zues send a gadfly to
sting Pegasus and he throws
Bellerophon from his
back.
Bellerophon falls back to earth and is
left to wander
alone for the remainder of
his life.
Pegasus is free to fly again and ascends to
Mt. Olympus where he is
given shelter in the
Olympian stalls.
His ascent to Mt. Olympus
is long remembered
by the constellation, still seen in
the night skies.
