Part A: Beach holidays in Mombasa

• Watch [Safari and Mombasa 1] from 16 minutes 30 seconds until 24 minutes 50 secs.

Students are to complete the questions under (b) of Part A.

Butler's Tourism Stage Model

‘Sustainable Tourism’ is basically tourism that will last without causing problems for future generations of people living in the area or for future tourists visiting the area.

‘Sustainable Tourism is a form of Sustainable Development (SD). Sustainable development is development that does not damage a place’s environment, economy or society (including culture). All three corners of the triangle stay ‘healthy’.
