THE INCARNATION OF A DREAM/MISSION/WORD/PURPOSE/VISION/FELLOWSHIPThe incarnation of God in the person of Jesus the Christ is the greatest display of Gods unending love and affection to human kind. When He wanted to seek and to save that which was lost, the best way forward was for Him to descend from heaven to earth, put on flesh, speak the human language, love men unconditionally to the point of death on the cross - a death that He freely and willingly accepted. He became like His own creature in order to seek and save himToday as we celebrate and remember His birth/ his coming to this world in human flesh, it is an honor and a privilege to us, standing here, as we reverently witness the birth of a new cell in the body of Christ an integral part of the universal church of Jesus the Christ by the name of Victory Rock Church.Here in Africa, when a new baby is birthed, there is celebration of life. Its never public a few people witness it and yet when it grows and begins walking in its purpose, all see it and appreciate it. Dedication of the baby through spoken words, wishing them well, we speak life to it and commit it to the Lord.Born not of the will of men but of the will and provision of God The dream was conceived . and now is the time to give birth. We are glad that against all odds God has given us the strength to give birth. We are glad that He has not allowed us to come to the point of birth and fail to find strength to deliverJhn 16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. Jhn 16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. Jhn 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you. Jhn 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. The king of glory became incarnate because:-1. He had a message to communicate/present2. He had a mission to advance3. He had a purpose/promise to fulfill /to pursue4. He had a people to redeem/ransom/save/deliver5. He had a plan to achieve When all is said and done may we stand to always fight the good fight of faith 2 Tim 4:7Many are the challenges that face the church today: the enemy, leadership insecurities, selfish motives and gains, pride, lukewarmness, etc.We have carried it in our bosom for long but this day by His grace, we bring it forth. And to you all, thank you for being part of the dream and also for witnessing the birth of this dream. It has kept us moving and indeed we attest that man shall not live on bread alone but on every word. His faithful, He promised, He has brought forth and has promised to reward the faithful use itTo you oh lord, we commit our life may have come and some have died prematurely, You are the alpha and the omega. Today we witness the alpha and our prayer is that we will one day reach the omega in wholeness and faithfulness.Many shall be called to build in this cell.
