access to The Force

▸ To seek happiness through contentment with themselves

▸ To be guardians of the peace in the Galaxy

▸ To serve others, not rule over them, for the good of the

Galaxy



THE YOUNGLINGS OR INITIATES




HOW THE JEDI ACHIEVE THEIR PURPOSE

▸ They identify individuals of any race who were sensitive to The

Force

▸ They train and educate these individuals through a hierarchical

academic system

▸ The Youngling or Initiate must successfully complete

‘fundamental training’ and gains a 2nd class education, Padawan

or Apprentice must complete the final Five Trials, he/she then

becomes a Jedi Knight and may pursue a 3rd class degree or

post doctoral degree, then becomes a Jedi Master
