Day 1 MON Depart USA, flight to Thessaloniki

Day 2 TUE Thessaloniki

Arrive Thessaloniki, a city that is over 2300 years old. It

was built in 316 BC by Kassandros, the Macedonian King,

and was named after his wife, Thessalonika the sister of

Alexander the Great. It was here that Paul wrote his letter

to the Thessalonians. Later the city flourished under the

Byzantine Empire; transfer to our hotel, dinner, and

overnight D.

Day 3 WED Philippi, Kavala, Thessaloniki

Drive to Philippi, where Paul delivered his first sermon in

Europe, sowing the seeds of Christianity (Acts 16:12-

18). Here Paul baptized a certain woman named Lydia,

the first Christian convert in Europe. Visit the Roman

forum, and the prison where St. Paul and Silas were

thrown. Gather at the roman theatre for your prayer and

teaching. Continue into the modern port city of Kavala,

ancient Neapolis, where Paul, accompanied by Silas, Luke

and Timothy, first set foot in Europe. This ancient city was

later renamed Christoupolis because it was the first

European city to accept Christianity. Dinner and overnight

Day 4 THU Thessaloniki tour, Veria, Athens

Our tour of Thessaloniki includes the Roman Market,

theatre and bath. A great place to gather for your teaching

is right at the theatre of the Agora, the place much visited

by Paul. Arch of Galerius, the City walls, Chain Tower and

Citadel, the white tower, Byzantine churches, the cave and

well of the Apostle Paul, House of Jason, Monastery of

Vlattadon; take some time and gather right at the stair at

the walls overlooking Thessaloniki next to Jason’s home;

Aristotle's Square, and statue of Alexander the Great.

Drive to Berea where Paul established a small

church. View the reconstructed steps of the bema (or

rostrum) and see the newly placed mosaics of Paul and the

plaque of scripture regarding the "more noble" church

(Acts 17:1-13). Continue to Athens, check in in our Hotel,

dinner and overnight B,D

Day 5 FRI Cruise,Myconos

Transfer to the port of Lavrion for embarkation on our

cruise ship. Enjoy the many shipboard activities or just

relax while sailing to the Island of Mykonos with its jet-set

atmosphere, whitewashed buildings, sidewalk cafes, 360

churches and chic shops! B, L, D

Day 6 SAT Cruise:Kusadasi & Patmos

This morning we arrive in Ephesus to visit the "Seven

Wonder of the Ancient World" It is here Paul spent many

years and wrote his Letter to the Ephesians.

Then sail to the Island of Patmos. It is here John wrote the

Book of Revelation.Gather at the outdoor theatre at the

Grotto for your teaching (B, L, D

Day 7 SUN Cruise: Crete and Santorini

This morning we dock at Heraklion, in Crete where Paul

and Titus visited in support of the Early Church.Included

shore excursion to the Minoan palace of Knossos

This afternoon we call at Santorini one of the most

beautiful islands in the Mediterranean;you may take the

cable car upt to Fira and enjoy the fantastic views of the

Caldera. B, L, D

Day 8 MON Athens/Corinth

Morning disembarkation at Pireaus port; depart for

Corinth with a brief stop at the Corinth Canal, which

separates Peloponnese from the Greek mainland and

connects the two seas (Ionian and Aegean). Later visit

Corinth which was home for Paul for eighteen months. We

visit the Archaeological Museum, the Bema, the Market

Place and the Temples. From the Bema at Corinth, Paul

spoke to the Corinthians about our Lord and Savior Christ.

Athens City sightseeing includes a visit to the world-

renowned Acropolis, with the ruins of the Parthenon,

Erechteum and Propylea. Then, we ascend Mars Hill,

where Paul preached (Acts 17:16, 22). Also, view the

Agora (ancient market place, and former center of

Athenian public life), the House of Parliament, the Tomb

of the Unknown Soldier and the Presidential ; dinner and

overnight Athens B,D

DAY 9 TUE ROMEFLY Athens to Rome.

Arrive Rome, visit Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel/St

Peter. Afternoon walking tour Pantheon, Navona, Trevi

Fountain

Day 10 WED ROME

Start the day at TRE Fontane,the inspiring place where

Paul was beheaded; continue to St Paul outside the

walls,possible location Paul is buried, continue to the

Catacombs.Afternoon tour Colosseo, Forum, Mamertina

TOUR PRICE is per person based on double occupancy. Flights are economy class. Single rooms are subject to availability with an additional charge. (If a passenger cannot supply a roommate and TLC Holyland Tours, LLC is unable to do so, or the roommate cancels before departure, the passenger will have to pay the supplemental charge. Passenger may be billed after the final payment due date for single room accommodations as necessary.) TIPS are included in the Tour Price and will be included on the final billing. RESERVATION requires a $500 per person deposit and completed registration form. Reservations received after January 29th are considered late and full payment will be due with reservation; plus $150 late penalties are due. PAYMENT, if registering on-line, allows the deposit to be made via PayPal (with your credit card). Payments by check should be payable to TLC Holyland Tours. The “due in full date” is as indicated in brochure. Reservations not paid in full by the due date are subject to cancellation. If not paid in full by the due date, a $50 per passenger per month fee will be incurred. If installments are preferred, a suggested installment plan is on this tour’s information page at www.tlcholylandtours.com. Payment by an individual or for an individual affirms your agreement to these terms and conditions. CANCELLATION must be in written form. If cancelling: $175 is non-refundable for any reason up to 90 days before departure: $275 is non-refundable if cancelling 89– 75 days before departure 25% of tour cost is non-refundable if 74 – 46 days before departure 50% of tour cost is non-refundable if 45 – 31 days before departure No refund is given if cancelling 30 days or less before departure PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS require you to be in good health – able to climb stairs and ascending grades without assistance; walk up to 3+ miles daily at a moderate pace on uneven terrain, and able to transport your own luggage. No vaccinations are required. TRANSPORTATION is by modern air-conditioned motor coach and by jet, economy class seating. Upgrades and associated cost are the sole responsibility of the passenger after ticketing. DEVIATION from the group itinerary is not allowed. GROUP TRAVEL: AIR MILES CANNOT BE USED. DOMESTIC FLIGHTS, if not specifically included in the tour package, are the responsibility of the participant, to and from the international departure airport. Understand that international flight times can change. (If domestic travel is booked more than 60 days in advance of departure date you are encouraged to purchase a flexible ticket which allows for no charge or minimal charge for flight changes.) Arrive at the airport of international departure 3½ - 4 hours before flight departure time. TLC Holyland Tours is not responsible for changes to the flight schedule.

For passengers making personal reservations for flights to connect to the group at any point in the journey, TLC Holyland Tours requires the passenger to use the airline being used by that group if a domestic ticket is included on the group’s package. (If using the airline used for that group, the airline will more likely be willing to assist
