1. The Land Between is a perfect climate for TRANSFORMATIONAL GROWTH

2.God wants us to grow a specific “crop”: TRUST.

TRUST is the glue that holds any relationship together

3. To build TRUST, God put them in a situation where they would either have to TRUST or they would CRACK.

4. The Land Between is also a place where FAITH can go to DIE.

5. You can prepare for the Land Between. Preparation comes from the SLOW, STEADY, DAY to DAY growth that happens when we faithfully do our SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES.

a. Daily obedience to God establishes patterns in our heart that increase the possibility of responding in TRUST.

b. Steady incremental spiritual GROWTH prepares us for the seasons of extreme difficulty

6. We need to COOPERATE with God in the Land Between and allow Him to produce in us what we need rather than RESIST.

7. The goal of God’s testing our faith is to produce a faith that is MATURE and COMPLETE.

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Prepare for your seasons of being in the land between by daily obedience and steady spiritual growth. As you journey through your land between, remember God desires your trust. Remember God cares for you.

Guard your heart against complaint. In your weariness, cry out to him. Trust God to provide. If you are disciplined, trust God is working to rescue you from something.

The land between is a place that God is trying to help you to grow…to develop a mature and perfect faith.

The land between is also a place where you can show that faith in Jesus makes a difference
