International Know-how –

appreciated in Iran!

Iran is currently one of the world's most coveted investment targets and the economy has been boosted significantly after the lifting of the

sanctions. IIF, the international banking association, is expecting economic growth of up to 6 % in 2016/17 while the Wall Street Journal's

forecast is up to 8 %. The high number of planned large projects, expansion investments and the necessary renewal of often very outdated

industrial plants provide huge opportunities for international mechanical engineering and plant construction companies.

Enormous backlog demand. Make use of your opportunity.

The Iranian economy is very diversified and there is high demand for specialised suppliers. Since the end of the sanctions, the demand for

modernisation has been extremely high. In addition to the oil and gas industry, motor vehicle manufacturing primarily harbours enormous

potential for mechanical engineering and plant construction companies. 90 % of the vehicles sold in Iran are manufactured locally, two

thirds of the required parts are imported.

A future market. Your brand needs to be here.

Ten good reasons for attending AMB Iran in 2018

Leading international exhibition for metal working in the

region.

Economic area with enormous backlog demand.

First-class visitors: decision-makers from the industry meet here.

Attractive trade fair centre with state-of-the-art infra-

structure.

National network of industrial associations, industry and

politicians.

Local organization team with exhibition experience.

Very large number of international exhibitors. Meeting point

for the industry in Iran.

Numerous services relating to your attendance at the event:

Comprehensive carefree package from stand construction through

to a local shuttle service.

Reliable and experienced exhibition organization from

Germany.

Exhibition location Tehran. Economic centre and transport hub

for the entire country.

We took part in AMB Iran for the first time. The number of visitors

on our stand was very satisfactory. We were informed about specific

problems; customers came to our stand well-prepared. You can sense

that the market now needs to develop and that it is going to take a

technological leap to do so.

Claudio Podestà

Managing Director

Gigant Italia Srl

On the whole, we drew very positive conclusions from AMB Iran.

We came here to sound out the market and find a local partner. We

welcomed a large number of prospective customers to our stand

and established some highly promising contacts. We received

some specific inquiries from the automotive industry. However, it will

take some time to realise them due to the general local and political

conditions.

Head of the International Sales Department for Universal Machines

GROB-WERKE GmbH & Co. KG

The exhibition was better than expected, we are very satisfied. Large

numbers of visitors came to our stand every day. The discussions

were fruitful and related specifically to the energy and oil industries.

Since the inquiries were often complicated and demanding, that made

them very promising for our company. We believe that Iran contains

a great deal of potential if the country remains politically stable.

Harald Haug

Export Sales Manager

Paul Horn GmbH

Although we were last active in Iran in the 1990s, our brand is still

known. Exporting and financing our products is still very difficult at the

moment, it‘s a real obstacle course. The visitor figures were very

good though, we had a lot of in-depth discussions, visitors know what

they want.
