A visionary on a permanent quest for excellence, Groupe GM President Laurent Marchand went even further in 2009, launching the Damana Organic Bath Line, the first line to be certified organic by Ecocert and carry the Cosmébio label.

Opt for organic! More than just a label, organic products have become a worldwide trend. The success of organic beauty products has become undeniable over the last twenty years in North America and Europe. In 2010, 3 out of 10 French women bought at least one organic cosmetic product, but by 2018 the figure had doubled to 6 out of 10!

Since 2002, the Cosmébio organisation in France, which brings together professionals in the cosmetics sector, has applied a series of very strict technical specifications that are monitored by the Ecocert certification body. All this guarantees cosmetics of natural, ecological and organic origin.

In order to harmonise the requirements for organic labels at European level, a new standard in organic cosmetics, Cosmos, was created in January 2017. Its specifications were drawn up in collaboration with Cosmébio, among other organisations.

A minimum threshold of natural origin ingredients from organic farming is also required.

Damana Organic Bath Line meets these thresholds, with more than 99% of the ingredients in the line being of natural origin. More than 10% of all ingredients come from organic farming.

The products are also free from controversial components such as silicone, paraffin, PEG, parabens, phenoxyethanol, GMOs, synthetic fragrances, colours, and animal ingredients. Finally, they have not been tested on animals and they have of course passed all dermatological checks.

It consists of two Gentle Soaps (20 and 40 g), a Conditioning Shampoo, a Body & Hair Gel, a Body Lotion and a Shower Gel in 30 ml bottles. A Liquid Soap and Hair & Body Gel are available in 300 ml Ecopumps.

Aloe vera is a plant that grows in tropical countries, including Mexico. Its large leaves contain the precious pulp that used in cosmetics for its many beneficial properties. It contains no less than 200 active components:
