In our lives, there is something – some unnamable force – which drives us forward. It is the flame which lights our eyes and the desire which stirs our souls. It awakens us. It refuses to be ignored. It’s the voice in our heads which tells us to be something better than ordinary,

something more… something great. So the question is this: do we ignore that voice, or do we rise up to its challenge?

These are our dreams. Our ambitions… our aspirations.

Welcome to the Legacy of Aspirations. The concept is simple: each of the ten generations will represent one of the ten aspiration categories featured in the Sims 4, in the order they appear on CAS. Each heir must fully complete their chosen aspiration, and the legacy will not be

complete until the tenth heir completes his or her aspiration.

Our founder is the lovely Audrey Aspirations. She represents the first aspiration category: Athletic. Her aspiration is Bodybuilder, she has a high metabolism, and she is active, self-assured, and hot headed.

Like most of her kind, Audrey has a very humble, lawn-living beginning. It’s a comfort to know that she has a running shower and a working fridge, but only barely. It’s clear to us both that we have a long way to go.

I should note that this Audrey is not the original… This is actually Audrey II. (No, not a flesh devouring plant monster from space, though if you understand that reference, I love you.) The first Audrey was created before her silly creator read Pinstar’s rules, and thus she had far

more money and privilege than was appropriate for a legacy founder. I have since realized my mistakes and am starting fresh.

With not much to do in her less than preferred living situation, Audrey checks out the local gym. Where better for an active Sim to feel at home? She is especially drawn to the punching bags, where she can safety and productively release the stress built up from her hot-

headed nature.

“Can’t… believe… I have to live on… a goddamn lawn… ugh! Eat my fist, you stupid bag!”

The gym is also the perfect place to meet like-minded (if stinky) Sims. In particular, she runs into a certain infamous Casanova. He’s active, she’s active; they become instant friends.

“Psst… he’s kinda cute, too.”

Going to have to stop you there, missy. Don’s not exactly the marrying type. (Besides, I’m pretty sure the rules make him ineligible.)

Audrey also runs into this guy with a v-neck and facial hair that reminds one of Wolverine. He gives Audrey some tips for her workout. A possibility, sure, but Audrey’s not really feeling him. Neither am I.

Audrey enjoys her time at the gym, but the first try at spouse hunting is a bust.

Audrey returns home for a shower, and her look of horror is accurate as she remembers how severe her living situation is. She gains a lousy job as an assistant dishwasher in an effort to pay bills. (Is there even an Athletic career in this game? I have yet to see one.)

Audrey is anything but a quitter. She makes a trip to the Blue Velvet Nightclub for round two of spouse hunting. For an hour or two it seems a bleak pursuit, this partying girl the only person in the club to keep Audrey company. Not that it stops Audrey from making a

new friend.

Wait, what’s this? Could it be? Has our little founder found the spark she was searching for?

Could this be the start… of something new? Could it feel so right being here with you? And now, looking in your eyes…

Wait… where was I?

Oh, right… this guy. Meet Addison, everyone! He’s revealed himself to be a bookworm and a geek, and I like him already. He coulddefinitely be a keeper.

I think it’s safe to say Audrey agrees.

Why the face, Audrey?

“This juice sucks. I hate pulp. There are dirty dishes everywhere and no way to get rid of them... And my back hurts.”

So much complaining. You’re in love! Isn’t that worth something?

“I don’t have walls. The neighbors can watch me shower.”

“Spend all day washing stupid dishes at work, and what do I get for it all? A sink to wash more stupid dishes…”

Alright Audrey, I get it. You’re not having a fun time.

I send Audrey to the gym in the hopes of letting her work off some steam, but apparently she has other ideas.

Audrey, I don’t think just being there qualifies as getting a workout. But who am I to complain? The trip succeeds in putting her in a better mood.

Time is short, money is non-existent, and legacy rules are specific. Audrey pops the question to the love of her life she met yesterday, and because his coding doesn’t know any better, he says yes.

The two lovebirds elope immediately. Though the relationship was rushed, the love in Audrey’s eyes as they exchange their vows is real.(The fact that he brings in $20,000 with him doesn’t hurt.)

Addison is gloomy, a bookworm, and a geek. He wants a big happy family and is domestic. You’ve come to the right place, Addy.

And with the addition of Addison’s funds, Audrey’s lawn-living days are over. Here is an interior shot of the newlywed’s newly renovated home.

(We, uh, don’t have to bother with looking at the exterior… let’s just say I’m quite lost without auto roofs…)
