Denzel Washington was born on December 28, 1954. He was born in Mount Vernon New York. He has 2 siblings and came from a family disciplined family.
Bad behavior
When Denzel Washington was 14 his parents divorced and stopped going to church. His mother was tired of his behavior so she sent him to Oakland Academy.
New beginnings
When Denzel got out of Oakland Academy he started taking the right path by going to Fordham University and getting a degree in pre-medicine. To pay his school fee, Denzel ran a baby sitting service in a Greek orthodox church.
Acting Career
When Denzel finished at the University he decided to go to Los Angeles to act. After being turned down he decided not to give up and got a role in his first movie Wilma.
Help for Young men
Denzel’s life influenced young men to take the right path by owning the Boys and Girls Club of Mount Vernon, NY. He goes to schools and talks to boys about pursuing their career to get somewhere in life.
