What is the Linx 8900?

The Linx 8900 is a continuous ink jet printer which:

• provides non-contact printing onto products as they move on the production line

• prints up to three lines of text, logos, barcodes, QR codes and other graphics

• prints characters in a dot matrix format, from heights of 2mm to 20mm

• prints onto products moving at up to 3.65 metres/second

• prints onto virtually any surface, including curved surfaces such as bottles

Auto Power Down, for clean start ups

Linx electronic viscosity control

Controlling viscosity without moving mechanical parts or heaters

• Solvent-based inks change viscosity over time, and with temperature

• Linx printers instantly adjust to this, for reliable, consistent printing

• Electronic jet-speed measurement at the printhead instead of mechanical measurement in the printer, no moving parts

• Temperature is measured in the printhead, not fixed using a heater – no need to heat ink, no warm up waiting time
