Last night I was snoozing on the couch when I awoke to a strange noise. I looked and my dog had gnawed on my favorite pair of shoes! I was furious! My mother was kind enough to help me fix them. I would have to repay her later. “Why does he chew on everything?” I raged. “You have to remember he’s just a dog,” my mom said. I knew I would have to be more responsible about putting my things away.
