Heb 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken

this is the sum: We have such an high priest, whois set on the right hand of the throne of theMajesty in the heavens;

Heb 8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of thetrue tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and notman.

Heb 8:3 For every high priest is ordained to offer

gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessitythat this man have somewhat also to offer.

Heb 8:4 For if he were on earth, he should not be

a priest, seeing that there are priests that offergifts according to the law:

Heb 8:5 Who serve unto the example and

shadow of heavenly things, as Moses wasadmonished of God when he was about to makethe tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou makeall things according to the pattern shewed tothee in the mount.

Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more

excellent ministry, by how much also he is themediator of a better covenant, which wasestablished upon better promises.

Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had beenfaultless, then should no place have been soughtfor the second.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when Iwill make a new covenant with the house ofIsrael and with the house of Judah:

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I willmake with the house of Israel after those days,saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind,and write them in their hearts: and I will be tothem a God, and they shall be to me a people:

The Writer here is making a summary of what hehad previously discussed about the HighPriesthood of the Lord Jesus Christ according tothe Order of the PRIEST-KING of SALEM,Melchizedek and not of Levi

SALEM means both Peace and alsoRighteousness (complete, safe, peaceful,perfect, whole, full, at peace)

MAN in his own condition CAN NEVER STAND BEFORE

GOD because of SIN that crept into Man's DNA..

ALL of Man's "Righteousness" is Unlcean ("tame"foul) and Filthy Rag ("ed beged"- soiled menstrualcloth) before God (Isaiah 64:6)

WE CANNOT COME BEFORE GOD ON

OUR OWN MERIT!

GOD the Father Himself!

Heb 8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle,which the Lord pitched, and not man.

We have a High Priest who is set at the RIGHT HAND ofthe Throne of Majesty in the Heavens!

Right Hand ("dexios" the hand that receives, accepts,takes)Throne of Majesty ("megalosune" greatness, divinity)in the Heavens ("ouranos" abode of God)

Jesus as High Priest is a Minister of the Sanctuary, theHeavenly TabernacleMinister ("leitourgos" public servant, benefactor ofman)

Heb 5:1 For every high priest taken fromamong men is ordained for men in things

pertaining to God, that he may offer both giftsand sacrifices for sins:

JESUS offered the Perfect Sacrifice for our Sins!

His Precious Holy Blood!He is the Lamb of GOD! (Jn. 1:29)

It will be a Covenant of WHAT GOD CAN& WILL DO to MAN instead of What ManStruggles to Do for God!

It will be a Covenant Where GODmanifest His Amazing Grace and thePEOPLE will Experience Gods Blessings asGods Own People
