From Red print cut: 2 - 4½” x 76½” top & bottom outer border K 2 - 4½” x 68½” side outer border J

PIECING THE QUILT TOGETHERStitch 2 - A’s to opposite sides of each 6½” pieced block.

Stitch Red square B’s to remaining A’s to make pieced sashing and cornerstones. (2) 1 - A + 2 - B’s (2) 3 - A’s + 4 - B’s (2) 5 - A’s + 6 - B’s (2) 7 - A’s + 8 - B’s (2) 9 - A’s + 10 - B’s

Layout blocks in diagonal rows.Layout sashing/cornerstones in between

rows.Layout with setting triangles D and corner setting triangles E.Stitch quilt center together.

Trim excess fabric staring ¼” away from blocks. Quilt center should measure 50” at this point.

Stitch side inner border F to quilt center. Repeat for top & bottom inner borders G. Quilt should measure 64½” x 64½” at this point.

Piece together 4 rows of 16 - H’s and 15 - I’s.

Stitch 2 sets to sides of quilt and 2 to top & bottom of quilt. Stitch 4 corner units of 2 - I’s for each pieced outer border corners. Stitch to all four corners. Once borders are stitched your quilt should measure 68½” x 68½”.

Stitch 2 side red outer borders to quilt. Repeat for top & bottom outer borders. The remaining red print is for binding.
