This book is part of a larger work, a series of essays that I am writing, titled:

The Church, The Holy Catholic ChurchHow It came to be, .and other curiosities.

Needless to say, this Major Religions bookis in the other curiosities category.To my knowledge, there is no other book on the market that offers a reader abrief overview, a snapshot, of each major religion.

Note: The word catholic means universal;, so the Holy Catholic Church would be the whole Christian church for the entire world, THE CHURCH.

There are three interesting aspects of this idea:

first, ever since 9/11 and the continued terrorist slaughter of people, thereis a fear as to what Islam is all about, what does it teach;

second, there is, therefore, a curiosity as the differences among thereligions, including Christianity;

third, all this stirs-up the very worst fears of humankind which are deathand eternal lostness it is not where we came from or why we are here,it is the fear of dying and what happens to us!

The attractive aspects of this idea are that the reader does not have read severalbooks on this subject; it is short. It is a synopsis of each religion, and the readercan do further study if they desire. It is comparative, asking the same questions ofeach religion.

The usable aspects of this book are that there is an awful lot of ignorance with

everyone on the differences of each religion.

The understandable aspects of this idea are that the vast majority of people do notever attend church, or synagogue, or mosque, or temple, but they still think, andworry, about this stuff, this subject.

The timely aspects of this idea is 9/11 and the terrorists activity,jihad, we readabout on a daily basis.

The salable aspects are: it is comparative, the same set of questions is asked ofeach religion; it is short, one doesnt have to read the entire library; furthermore, itis supported with other reports.
