THE MASTER OF FINE ARTS PROGRAM

SHOWCASECLASS OF 2015

Carey Perloff, Artistic Director

Melissa Smith, Conservatory Director

On behalf of American Conservatory Theater’s

administration, faculty, and staff, I proudly present to you

the 2015 graduating class of the A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts

Program. Our young artists are completing three years of

intensive study with us, including more than a dozen student

productions, as well as performances at The Geary Theater,

A.C.T.’s 1,000-seat theater, and The Strand Theater, A.C.T.’s

new 283-seat theater. Their production experience runs the

gamut—including classical literature, new plays, cabaret

revues, and physical theater. They are now prepared to meet

the challenges of the world of professional performance.

They carry with them the conviction that dynamic acting is

born not of happenstance, but of deep exploration, sustained

passion, unflagging discipline, and a love of play. We thank

you for including us in your schedule, and we appreciate the

consideration you have accorded our actors over the years.
