• All exhibits must be the original un-copied work of the exhibitor, and not previously entered at the Kilmore Art Expo

• The Kilmore Art Expo committee reserves the right to decline to hang or display any work

• Entry fees for exhibits not displayed will be refunded upon request

• All exhibits must be complete. Wet paintings cannot be accepted. To ensure the safety of all exhibits (including photography) your work must be ready for safe hanging i.e. securely framed including strong hanging wire and flat hooks (not staples) on back of painting/photograph. Exhibits without these hanging requirements may not be hung

• Native Australian Wildlife Entries: - Only paintings that are a true and accurate representation of the animal/bird will be considered for judging

• Local Kilmore Content: Identifiable location within 25 kilometres of Kilmore Post Office. Name of location to be included on label for painting or photography.

• Please complete the labels provided and attach one label to upper back section of each painting/photograph

• Other non-painting exhibits (pottery, jewellery, sculpture etc) ... exhibitors to contact HELEN MILES PH: 03 5781 1756

• Late entries will not be accepted.

• A limit of five exhibits in total will be accepted from each exhibitor (listed in hanging preference) e.g. 5 paintings, 3 paintings and 2 photographs, 4 paintings and 1 photographs etc.

• Entry sizes: Less than one (1) metre square $10.00. One metre square or larger - $20 per entry. A limit of two (2) paintings/photographs

one square metre or larger will be accepted. Pairs will be treated as 1 painting at $10.00 per entry size maximum size 25cm on any side.

• Note: Youth Exhibitors are invited to enter two (2) paintings OR photographs with a reduced entry fee of $5.50 per entry,

(paintings/photographs larger than one (1) square metre—$11 per entry—a limit of two large exhibits per artist)

• NEW AWARD - Miniature Category. Any medium allowed but frame must not exceed 30cm on any side.

• Paintings, photographs, or display items marked NFS (Not for Sale) will not be accepted and those listed as ‘As Titled’ may not be accepted

• Twenty five percent (25%) commission on all sales will be retained by the Kilmore Art Expo

• The Rotary Club of Southern Mitchell Inc is a Service Club and general fund raiser for charities and does not submit GST returns

• Winner of Best in Show will not be eligible for judging in any other category

• All responsible care of exhibits will be taken, however no responsibility for damage or loss will be accepted by the Rotary Club of Southern Mitchell or Kilmore Art Society. Insurance for all exhibits is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor

• Exhibits cannot be removed from the Expo until 4.30 pm Sunday 15th April 2018

• The organizing committee reserves the right to use exhibits or photographs of exhibits to promote the Expo

• Exhibits not collected by 5.30pm on Sunday 15th April 2018 cannot be stored and will be auctioned and the proceeds forwarded on to local charities of the organizing committee’s choice

• Net proceeds from sales will be posted to artists within 28 days from conclusion of Expo

• Exhibiting artists will be issued with an Artist Pass, allowing free entry to Opening Night (Friday, 13th April) and to the Expo during exhibition hours.

Please note—delivery and pick up of paintings/photographs must be to and from the Memorial Hall at the allocated times. No prior delivery or alternative pick up arrangements will be considered.
