Audio channels distort. Hear whispering from the ENGAGED MAN. Still hear WOMAN explaining how the proposal happened.

INT. HOUSE. EVENING.

Flash back. ENGAGED MAN gives MISTRESS a rose at her house.

CHEATING COUPLE walking through park. MAN pushes MISTRESS up against tree and kisses her.

INT. KITCHEN. EVENING.

SFX: HOME PHONE RINGS

MISTRESS exits the room leaving the WOMAN alone.

SFX: MISTRESS’ PHONE ALERTS

WOMAN looks at phone. Facial expression drops. Realises that ENGAGED MAN has been cheating, with her BEST FRIEND.

MISTRESS sees that the WOMAN has found out that she has been having an affair and slowly approaches her. Grabs knife from the kitchen worktop.

Meanwhile: WOMAN is still looking at phone, crying and does not realise what her BEST FRIEND is doing.

WOMAN is stabbed from behind by the MISTRESS.

Phone drops onto worktop.

WOMAN falls to ground.

Shot of MISTRESS towering above WOMAN and walking off.

Last shot: of WOMAN bleeding on floor as if dead.

Plot twist: WOMAN’S eyes open at the end of the thriller opening – she is thirsty for revenge.
