• The story is at the Zoo. There are lots of animals there. There are scary animals , and there are nice animals.

• The Chameleon wants to be like everybody else. The Chameleon is so mixed-up. What should he do? He should be himself. Do you think he should be him self? The Chameleon wants to be a fish , polar bear , fox , flamingo and deer.

• He is good. The Chameleon is sweet and kind. He can be so good some times that you will want him to be your pet!

Author’s Purpose

• The author’s purpose was to be your self! Are you going to be yourself now? Just because some one is popular does not mean you should be to.

• Why do you want to be like everybody else? Is there any other characters you want to be?

Different Ending to the story

• The chameleon does not change back. He is not happy. He wants to be even more things. He can fly super fast. He has lots of friends.
