NEW MASS SCHEDULE

Is your marriage or that of a relative or friend heading for divorce? Do you feel helpless? Retrouvaille has helped tens of thousands of couples at all stages of disillusionment or misery in their marriage. For confidential information about or to register for the July 10th through the 12th, 2020 Retrouvaille please call (559) 862-6765, or email: [email protected].

in their vehicles with the vehicle window open while the priest hears their confession from a 6-foot distance from the vehicle win-dow. Confessions are heard any time by appointment.

Office Opening: Beginning June 8th the Parish will be open. Please wear a mask and sanitize your hands upon entering the offices. We look forward to welcoming you! Also, I want to give you my sincere thanks for your generosity, during this time of crisis. St. Ann was able to maintain its support of those in need through our Food Bank Program.

Thanks to the hard work of our re-opening leadership team, especially Brenda and Ron Bell for stepping forward to be leaders of taskforce committee. As the parish taskforce committee and I continue to plan for the resumption of public Masses at Saint Ann, I ask for your patience and understand-ing. This is a time for each of us to be humble, and practice unity and charity.

Sadly, just as we were planning for public Masses at St. Ann since last ten days, we witnessed much violence and rioting across the country. The killing of George Floyd, which led to this unrest, was a senseless and brutal act of injustice. The sadness and pain surrounding this tragedy are intense. We pray for comfort for his grieving family and friends, peace for a hurting community, and prudence while the process moves forward. This tragic injustice indeed calls us all to continue to pray for justice and peace. We pray for our nation in these uncertain times. We join the Psalmist in praying for that day when "love and truth will meet [and] justice and peace will kiss.”

Dear Parishioners:

Amen Corner from Fr. Rayanna!

The Most Holy Trinity Sunday.

Dear People of God!

On Monday, our Bishop Brennan announced that beginning next weekend (June 13 & 14), Churches and Adoration chapels in the Diocese of Fresno could open for public worship. The details of the safeguards and guidelines are posted on our parish webpage, Facebook page and Diocesan webpage.

With new guidance from the Diocese of Fresno, we are presently working on a plan to offer public Masses at SAINT ANN starting Saturday, June 13th. I am so happy to write to you and say WELCOME BACK. Please note that when public Masses resume next week, Mass and confession times are changed to ensure time to clean and sanitize the Church and parish hall before and after each public Mass. The number of people allowed to attend will be limited to allow for the six feet of separation and social distancing.

Parishioners arriving after the church is filled will be led to the parish hall to watch the Mass on a livestream and receive communion. If there’s no room inside the church or parish hall, parishioners can also listen to the Mass in their vehicles and receive communion at designated areas.

At phase one, our Saint Ann Church Maximum capacity is 100 people and parish hall capacity is 60 people with six feet social distance. If you plan to attend Weekend Mass starting from June 13 and 14, help us plan for safety, by filling out of the online Mass survey form at http://www.parishofsaintann.org. For those who do not have access to a computer or need assistance with this process, please contact us at 760-375-2110. The dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass is still in effect, and therefore you are not morally obligated to attend.

Confessions: Confessions may be heard in the church crying room on (face-to-face), as long as a 6-foot distance between the priest and penitent is maintained. “Drive through” confessions are also possible: penitents remain

penitente.

Prayer for Protection during the Coronavirus Pandemic

O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves

to you, Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of the Roman

People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of

Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Helpus, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us,

through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection,

O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas –we who are put to the test –and deliver us from

every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. Pope Francis

For many of you, your weekly donations are brought with you to Mass. We encourage you to either mail in your weekly donations or sign up for e-Giving options. Our parish still depends on the Sunday collection. With the Mass cancellations, we are missing weekly cash and checks given by our parishioners. Just as in normal, healthy times, your weekly tithe is essential for the parish in achieving our mission.

Mail Your Donations to: St. Ann Catholic Church/ P. O. Box 127; Ridgecrest, CA, 93556. With secure e-Giving option, you can quickly and easily give using your debit/credit card.

Message from CCD Program: We hope and pray all are doing well. As we look to helping our children love God more and more everyday, we have the Blessed Trinity to think about this week. Have the children close their eyes and imagine the sun in the sky on a hot summer's day. Compare God to that sun in the sky, the sun is a great ball of light and heat which is too powerful for us to look at directly. This is like God the Father. From the sun comes light, which shines in our world and gives light to us and shows us the way. This is like God the Son, Jesus. Jesus calls himself the Light of the World. From the sun also comes heat to warm the earth and make things grow. This heat is like the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life. The Holy Spirit warms our hearts helping the faith planted there by God to grow strong. Continue to pray everyday with your children and be the teachers and examples they need in their everyday life.
